    – There seem to be a few players that could be traded to help teams become contenders..  A few that I could think of that dont get a lot of talk.  Troy Murphy, A Celtic big, James Posey, Jeff Foster.

    – I love that there is not a defined number 1 draft pick like there was the past few years.. Everyone knew that it was going to be JWall and BGriff.. Who is it this year?? It is completly up in the air and personally, I love that.

    – Just like with college, the MVP award could go to any one of 10 guys.. I love that!!  It makes me feel like people have a goal to compete for other than the NBA championship.. Before, everyone knew that Lebron was going to win regardless of what they did.. Now, IDK if anyone has seperated themselves from the pack..

    – Now that the Pacers coach has been fired, and they are looking for another coach, I feel like they are going to on a complete youth movement.  There have been rumblings of Granger on the trading block and for good reason.. George has shown flashes of being a top 10 SF in the NBA..  They have a very young group of players mixed in with a few vets.. I mean Hibbert could be an All-Star.  Tyler is a perfect role player and a hustling PF.  George, Rush, Stephenson, and Collison are a nice looking core of guards.  Look for a clean sweep there.

    – The Bulls are never going to make the next step as long as Brewer and Bogans are their SG rotation..  When they get a nice SG and Noah back, this team is going to be legit.  A force in the East.  Mark it down.

    – I love that the Melo stuff has cooled off.  I also like how the Nets were the ones to end talks.. It shows that they arent going to give away their future for a rental superstar… I know that some Nets fans are mad but to me, this is a good thing.

    – I am blown away at the consistancy of Blake Griffin.  Most rookies, even the best of them, are up and down all the time.. Blake has had very few bad games.. Some are better than others, yes, but he has been a fantastic addition to the Clippers.

    – TaylorCodrin, just remember that next time you want to post your thoughts, dont do it in 8s….

I couldn’t agree more. They really need to look into upgrading at shooting guard (which I am sure they are doing).

There are a few good options out there for them; Mayo, Stephen Jackson, etc.

I hope they can make a move. I would really like to see James Harden on the Bulls, but no idea if he is available.

Any thoughts on who they should go after, which pieces should or shouldn’t be involved?

They should send Deng for a shooting guard if they can and have Brewer at the 3 because you need a defender to win a championship; celtics have Perkins, Lakers have Artest, Spurs had Bowen, and Pistons have Prince

I agree except for the Bulls. I think they can still be a very good title contending team with Bogans and Brewer as there shooting guard. you dont need very good or great players at every position in order to win a title. Bogans and Brewer are very good defenders and bogans can knock down the open three. There have been title teams with guys who were worst then those two in the starting lineups

Send deng for who?..you lose a 20ppg scorer and a guy who has been one of the best defenders in the Leauge at SF this year. Brewer can not replaqce his scoring and he’s already as good of a defender as Brewer

The getting rid of Deng/starting brewer at the 3 idea is horrible. Deng is better at guarding 3s than Brewer is.
