HandDownManDown13ParticipantI’ve been looking for new stuff to listen to recently and figured that you guys would be a good audience to ask this question to.
I was wondering if you guys could give me some up and coming, or just non-mainstream rappers to listen to.
Anyone is game excluding the following:
J. Cole, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, and Big K.R.I.T. as i already listen to them a lot.
Thanks for the help.

ilike.panochasParticipantCheck out an underground MC name BLU. His album "Below The Heaven" is considered by many hip hop heads a classic.

butidonthavemoneyGood call on the Blu & Exile.
I’m not a fan of David Banner either.

BKKnicksfanParticipantI’m not the biggest Banner fan either myself…I just liked how he and 9th did work on the album. It’s a interesting listen.
IMO, it depends where he’s from because all hip hop is different. Yelawolf is alright, Diggy Simmons is good too. I suggest at least listening there.

Vinnie Paz is up there to… either him going solo or running wit Jedi Mind Trick or Army of the Pharoahs.

cuseflynn10ParticipantCheck him out on youtube. He has 2 songs with over 20K hits and I think that’s it but he honestly is better than what’s out there today. Then again I think I could rap better then Lil’ Wayne and all the other people that autotune.
