Carmelo Anthony trade

I know that this is a long shot since Melo has expressed not desire to come to Atlanta but think about this potential trade.

Hawks get:

Carmelo Anthony (with an extension)

Nene (if he waives his ETO)

Nuggets get:

Josh Smith

Marving Williams

Jamal Crawford ($10.5 mil expiring contract)

Maurics Evans ($2.5 mil expiring contract)

1st round pick 2011

1st round pick 2013 (lottery protected through 2015)

It makes sense for both teams.  The Nuggets get cap relief, draft picks and two young forwards to replace Melo and Nene and the Hawks automatically become a top 3 team in the East and can finally have more of a traditional lineup on the floor instead of having Josh Smith and Al Horford play out of position in these small lineups.
