Lotto StudParticipantHas anyone been paying close attention to Cincy this year?
From what I been seeing reocrd wise they have been playing really good to be undefeated although they are about to take a slug to Nova. I guess they been riding the back of Yancy Gates since Lance was Born Ready to leave early.
I just wonder with all the success they are having this year, what difference would it make if Lance stayed for another year to fine tune his game, to mature more as a person as well as a player.

Demarcus OnealParticipantCincy has played one of the easiest non-conference schedules in the whole country so even though they are undefeated they have simply been beating teams they should nothing too spectacular. I believe once conference plays they will have a tough time adjusting to a higher level of play IMO but they did recently have a good victory over Xavier where they stomped them by 20 and Yancy Gates played well I just don’t think this team will get enough quality wins in the hellish Big East and have enough talent to play the way they are playing.

JNixonParticipantRIDICULOUSLY easy schedule. They’ve improved since the end of last year in some ways (mainly because they’re a more athletic team).
Lance Stephenson would’ve had the ball in his hands alot more if he would’ve returned as a Sophomore, but I’m not sure that would’ve made him any better as a prospect than he already is/was.

TyrekeJonesParticipantThem being undefeated is nothing more then a fluke as what has been already stated they have been playing very easy teams that they shouldn’t lose to, they haven’t had a somewhat good win against any good team other then Xavier, but that game was probably one of the best they had all season, once they play some of the better teams in the Big East they will no longer be undefeated. It is as simple as that, no way they can compete with Villanova, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Syracuse.

JNixonParticipantXavier isn’t even really that good this year. They are probably an NIT team, unless they win the A-10. I expect Cincy to be right around .500 in the Big East.

TyrekeJonesParticipantTrue, but I am trying to say is Xavier is probably the best team they have played so far, which just backs up the statement that they have had an insanely easy schedule. I agree with you Cincy will be around 500, if not under it.
