TC_42ParticipantEspecially check out the per 36 minutes statline. Green has more intangibles and a higher ceiling, but Gomes is making $4 mil/year. If a team, including the Thunder, signs Green to play PF, I think they will seriously be over paying. The worst stat is that Green, a "stretch" 4, shoots under 30% from 3 and takes four attempts per game.

JJeff6ParticipantUhm statisitically they are close, but are they even remotely the same as in value wise and talent wise? HELL NO

apb540ParticipantGotta disagree here. Not only are the stats still in Green’s favor, but just watching the two play you can tell that Green is on another level. Gomes is a nice role player while Green is a good starter or an amazing 6th man depending on the team and situation. The correct title should of been "Ryan Gomes is a poor man’s Jeff Green."

LazarusMunozParticipantI sometimes like Gomes, just not when he starts…If he shouldnt be starter on The Clippers then theres really no team he should be starting for…He dosent really do anything to hurt your team, but he can be way too passive on the offensive end, passing up wide open shots
BTW whats the deal with The CLippers signing so many of Minnesotas players…Craig Smith,Gomes,Foye,Tellfair last year! The only one of the guys i like is Craig Smith, but hes just not very effective on the defensive end

sheltwon3ParticipantGreen is nothing like Gomes but I think maybe if a team signs him they put him at small forward. He can work on his outside shot.
