storm23ParticipantI understand that T-Will has some character issues but IMO I think that most of those issues are due too the fact that he can’t get consistent minutes in the Nets rotation and just makes bad decisions on how to make his point. He is very talented and has always been dubbed a triple-double threat every time he hits the court. His biggest two down falls are his shooting and ball control IMO.
With consistent minutes and over time I think he could fix that shot to where he could hit the big shot if needed and he is trying too do so much in what little time he has on the court he forces things and makes bad decisions but with those consistent minutes that could change.
In his first game for the D-League Armor he went off for 16 pts 15 rebs 13 ast with a steal and a block to boot. He played nearly 40 minutes and only had 2 TO’s even though his shot wasn’t falling 5-19 he helped make everyone around him a little better.
I think in time he could be a good leader and a focal point for a team in need of a leader (maybe Cavs?) I think he would be a good fit there as the Cavs could use someone like T-Will and I think he would bring a lot back to Cleveland in time IMO. I just wished a team would take a chance on him whether its NJ or another team and say here is 36+ minutes a game show us what you can do and he would tear it up and the immature nature he displays will go away.
However I do agree with Avery in his decision and in the long run I think it will be the decision that saved T-Wills career.

sammybuckeye13ParticipantThe Nuggets should be happy to get Twill, Murphy and a couple first rounders from the Nets, they keep asking way too much. Terrence Williams could be a VERY good player in the L, he does everything, and Murphy is $12 million off the table. The Nets should not deal Favors and Lopez – that’ll be a top big man combo in 2 years.

stanford hoopsYou mess up when you yell or get into arguements with the coach. If you dont get minutes then work harder in youre off time to get more minutes, nothing is just given to you all the time sometimes you have to earn it.

Anton123ParticipantHe did just post an absolutely ridiculous triple-double in his first D-League game, he’s obviously an NBA-level player

scoutguruParticipantDamn, there’s obviously a clear distinction between an average NBA player, and a D-League player. Dat boy T-Will is crazy, doing that to them in 1st game down there. Lol

JJeff6ParticipantGod Twill deserves a spot on an NBA roster. Very talented, albeit a headcase. Gets his screwed on right hes got a shot at some all star seasons, but i really dont think New Jersey is where he will play much longer.
