Honeycutt is finally showing what scouts like about him. He’s been very impressive.

Marcus Morris was out of rhythm for about the 1st 25 mins or so due to sitting with foul trouble, but he’s slowly getting back to his usual level. He’s still a little shaky so far offensively, but he’s playing good team defense.

Malcolm Lee disappears from the game too easily.

Lazeric Jones is a solid combo guard for UCLA. He’s got some decent talent offensively.

Tyshawn Taylor is playing OK. Making some nice decisions, but also has made a few mental mistakes. He should dictate the pace better.

Tyrel Reed is a knockdown shooter, and he’s playing quicker than usual.

Josh Smith is a big, big man. He’s got soft touch around the rim and relatively light feet for his weight. He’s not athletic or fast, and it can get him stuck on D at times, but he’s gotten some unfavorable calls because he’s so wide. He will be a super good player in the Pac-10 either next year or the year after. Like C.P.O.Y good if he stays in shape.

Reeves Nelson is doing too much.

Ouch tough loss. Good call though, a foul is a foul. Can’t just let them play at the end because then coach’s would just say foul him to take it into overtime

I agree a foul is a foul, but they really never showed a good enough camera angle to determine if it was or not, all you could see was their backs.

thats rough. It was a loose ball and two kids are going for it and the kansas player got there first and the ucla kid couldnt hold up in time. Great game though, i cant be mad. Honeycutt had a great game. 32 points on 11-15 shooting with 9 boards 4 assists.

also just want to add, the bruins are only getting better. Both josh smith and tyler had break out games. This team has plenty of flaws, but they also have talent to compete with anyone. We will make the tournament and no team will want to play ucla. Best 3-3 team in america.

Man, that sucks, sorry man. I was hoping UCLA would win it. We barely lost to Missouri too! I did not get a chance to watch as I live on the East Coast, but I check the score and realize we came back from down 20 and only lost by 3. Tough start to the Pac-10/Big 12 challenge. We are still a conference in recovery, hope that some of the other schools have better luck.

the ending of that game was hardbreaking for Bruins fans…But it seems to me that the Bruins player should’ve dived on the floor at the ball, instead of reaching in….
