bobbybParticipantThis goes out to all those who said that his supporting cast wasnt good enough in Cleveland. Can we all agree it isnt about having a 2nd and 3rd scoring option, but it is about overall team play. His team was fine in Cleveland and much better than what he has in Miami.

nateoak10ParticipantHe had something magical in Cleveland and with Byron Scott there with JJ and Boobie playing great he shouldve stayed
BUT, that supporting cast is much better than this one. Joel Anthony in nearly 30 mins got 3 boards.3.
There offensive system sucks too

Mr. 19134ParticipantJust because the Heat got one of the worse rosters you’ll ever see under contract on one team if you take away 3 players don’t mean that the Cavs had a great supporting cast either.
I was not a huge fan of Lebron going to Miami and for this reason. Him and Wade are not natural compliments like Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are. Wade is like a smaller version of James. He is not a great shooter and virtually does nothing that Lebron don’t do. I have never liked Bosh i think he’s a wussy and just went to Miami to be noticed not to win. If you look at the rest of the roster it is bad. The Heat have a terrible roster. Joel Anthony wouldn’t even make the Sixers team. What is he doing starting?
The best scenario for Lebron to win a chip this year was Dallas. Based on the pure roster I really liked the Clippers. Imagine Lebron running point forward alongside Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin…

omphalosParticipantLebron would have fit in with the Clippers, but I’m glad Griffin is getting a chance to shine without being under LBJs shadow.
Nets were actually the best fit for Bron in my opinion; Scoring point in Harris, great C in Lopez, young athletic PF in Favors, great outside shooter in Anthony Morrow, good sixth man in T-Williams.

NYK2010ParticipantThe Nets have no SG or PF still no way would that team win right away.
Yeah with the Cavs they had some chemistry but they wouldn’t even make the ECF the team had peaked already.
The Cavs still don’t have scorers and some bad contracts on the team with Gibson, Varejao and Jamison.
I agree Dallas would’ve been the best place for him to win rite away but was that really going to happen.

andxxxParticipantI doubt he would’ve won a ring this year if he stayed in cleveland it wouldve been same story they wouldve lost to the magic or celtics with mo williams choking in the playoffs. Its not like Pippen and Jordan were perfect compliments either neither was considered a jump shooter and it worked out with them

sammybuckeye13Participantmaybe should’ve done…where’s Chicago in all this? They were a much more legit contender in the free agent sweepstakes than Dallas and the Clips. They’re 9-6 w/o Boozer and having played the league’s toughest schedule. If he had taken the paycut he took for Miami, could you even imagine a team of:
PG – Rose
SG – LeBron
SF – Deng (sg/sf interchangeable)
PF – Boozer
C – Noah
Bench: Gibson, Korver, Brewer, Watson.
That would’ve been a truly incredible team.

Pippen had a post game
Jordan had the best mid-range game ever

SteroidParticipantPippen and Jordan were both all-nba defenders too… Pippen also knew his role on the Bulls.

IndianaBasketballParticipantMJ and Pippen both had complete games, so how weren’t they perfect compliments? Both of them could pass and create off of the dribble. Both of them could post up on the block or mid post. Both of them had an in between/mid-range game. Both of them could isolate, catch and shoot, shoot the one/two dribble pull up or take it all the way to the rim and finish.LeBron and Wade aren’t like MJ and Pippen. For one, they don’t have complete games (can’t play effecitvely off of the ball or shoot well consistently) and they both dribble too much.0 - Posted on: Sun, 11/28/2010 - 11:37am #445852

andxxxParticipantWasnt Wade playing off the ball in 2006 when they won the championship? I thought Lebron could pass and isolate? They don’t compliment each other perfectly, but thats just another reason itll take them more time, but it can work
