Nets send Williams to D-League

GM Billy King made the announcement friday morning,saying the 2nd year guard will benefit from playing for The Springfriend Armor while he’s still on the inactive list…The Nets put Williams on the inactive list tuesday for repeating violating team rules..When Williams was suspended earlier this week King didnt go into details but said it had been brewing for a while…King said there is no timetable for Williams return ,but it will be addressed at an appropiate time …

After a solid Summer League, I was expecting him to be a nice contributor to the Nets and maybe on the lines of averaging 15 ppg, 6 rbs, and 5 assists and make some nice plays defensively. I thought he MATURED as a player, but fooled me.
I dunno if going to the D-league will help his maturity, but he needs to get it together cuz he’s got a lot of potential and I’d hate to see that go to waste

Avery isn’t playing around. Guys are going to operate the right way under his watch. He has benched Brook Lopez and exiled Troy Murphy over playing defense. Now Terrence Williams is getting the D-League treatment for being unprofessional (supposedly showing up late). New Jersey still isn’t that good or that talented, but there is progress in the way Johnson is trying to clean up that outfit.

nets need to trade him to cavs it will help the cavs to fill that SF they looking for who can do lill of everything trade him for a first round draft pick if you going to keep him in d league.

Get it together T-Will. Avery Johnson always has a tight rope with young guys. He’s a huge reason why Devin Harris was dealt to the Nets when Johnson was running the show for the Mavs, from what I’ve heard.
