SwatLakeCityParticipantBrooks to Sactown would be a very good move as it provides a way that Udrih can come off the bench which is where I think he belongs. I don’t mind Udrih starting, but he will never be the player that Brooks is. I really don’t see why the Kings should try to get Teague, I mean Udrih would be a very nice veteran player to have behind possibly Brooks that could really help the Kings in the season and in the playoffs which they should make by next season if they keep improving. And a Brooks trade is certainly a start.

This is probably the trade that is in the works. This trade would work out for both teams because Yao is hurt and will probably hurt for the rest of his career. So Brad Miller will get a ton of starter’s minutes but the Kings know that he is washed up and will never give the Rockets some blocks that Yao can. But Thompson can provide some blocks and he is even younger than Yao and Miller so he can possibly be their center of the future once Yao decides to retire because of this nagging injury. Of course this trade helps the Kings because it allows them to use Beno off the bench and be a veteran help to develop Brooks and Tyreke even more. As I said before I think this is where Beno will truly excel.
Unfortunately though this trade would provide more minutes for Kyle Lowry as a starter and Ish. Smith as a backup. Lowry isn’t bad but he’s certainly no Brooks, but he could possibly play like Beno does when he starts. Also the Rockets are not doing to well this year (of course this could be because is injured so far) so maybe the Rockets should start to rebuild through the draft and this trade would certainly be a way to start. Maybe they can draft Brandon Knight in this upcoming draft. He should be even better than Brooks. And right now they should be able to get him even without doing this trade.

dmo21ParticipantHow about Greene and Thompson for Teague and Williams
Atlanta gets a true center so they can move horford to power forward and smith to small forward. Greene will be the 7th man, and Atlanta can show lots of different lineups cause Johnson, Smith, Greene, and Horford can all play 2 positions.
Sacramento gets a better point guard, who is also young. They also get a legit starting sf who does a little bit of everything.
