The Splash DocParticipantMichael Beasley has saved his career so when the time comes does he re-sign with Minny or does he follow the money. Teams like Sacramento, Houston and New Jersey all have spots for him or does he ride out with Minnesota because I doubt they MAX him out.

sheltwon3ParticipantIt is still early but I am sure Beasley will go a place where he can play and also get paid but Minny if they want him can overpay.

gregoden08ParticipantWhat the hell are you talking about? He’s played like 15 games this year, and everyone knew he had the talent to. He’s putting up very good stats, but on a mediocre team. To answer the question, I could see him joining New Jersey. He seems like a good fit there because Outlaw is better served as a 6th man (always has been).

RickyRubio9Participantlmao. Did you say he has saved his career? Slow your roll brochacho.
There’s still plenty of time for him to drop off, struggle, and get hit by injuries.
I’m a supporter of him, but don’t get too far ahead just yet.0 - Posted on: Mon, 11/22/2010 - 6:41pm #442932

ilike.panochasParticipantBeasley needs to save Minnesota before I even consider giving him a max contract. Ive seen players like him put up big numbers on losing team (see Glen Robinson, Antawn Jamison, etc). Do it on a winning team then I feel much comfortable giving him a fat contract.

mattholdenbrownParticipanthey if some of the players today (rudy gay, i no im gonna get crucified for that) get undeserving max contracts, I think some dumb GM will take a chance with beasley. With that being said, I think the twolves offer him a huge contract, try to keep him and create a (potential) playoff team with love and beasley, but we cant tell how good he is going to be until about midway through the season

RUDEBOY_Participanti might be wrong but didnt the T-Wolves pickup the option on Beasley’s contract earlier this year?

mj23mj23besteverParticipanti wont crucify the mention that sum team will severly over pay him and it will prolly be minny i dont think hed go to the nets because of being turned down in the dooling deal id see beaser holding a grudge there and not wanting to play for the nets

omphalosParticipantI think Beasley SHOULD re-sign there, but it depends on what happens with the Rubio situation, because they need a better defensive point than Telfair or Ridnour as quality opposing PGs are scoring way too easily against them. He definitely won’t be a max contract, but as has been said, there are a lot of games to come before any solid judgments can be made.

HansotekParticipantI think B-Easy will give Minny the benefit of the doubt in any F/A dealings. They were the only team to give him a chance when the whole NBA took a pass on him. Given how much it appears they like him, I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to retain him.
