ShekiruBoomParticipantwhat a stinker put up by the Tar Heels and the presumed #1 pick, Harrison Barnes!! I guess it doesnt’ really matter for Tar Heels as its a long season but 0-12 by a number 1 pick is unacceptable especially against a vastly inferior opponent. This really makes me wonder if hes the lock for number 1 people make him to be.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantMinnesota isnt a inferior opponent..They’re a top 20 ball club..Carolina was rated in the top 10 becuz of Barnes..I had them at 15 in my preseason rankings..
The Gophers have a few nba prospects on that team..They made life Hell for Barnes..They didnt allow him to get comfortable and into the flow of the game…
But the thing about Barnes is most superstar players rise up in games when the opponent defense is geared toward stopping them..When they’re not scoring well they contribute in other areas of the game..
I honestly believe Barnes won’t be the consensus number 1 pick by season’s end…

ShekiruBoomParticipantthe only potential nba player i know from minnesota is rodney williams as far as i know. but of course i’m not thaaatttt big follower in college bball. i was just more surprised by Harrison Barnes. Yes he is a freshman but hes also a potential number 1 pick and a 0-12 game against a team that they were still supposed to beat is very disappointing. Im not sure if Perry Jones or Kyrie Irving will be able to overtake him but i’m thinking that Harrison Barnes is not a frachise player along the lines of LeBron, Kobe but more of an in between superstar like Joe Johnson and Brandon Roy

ShekiruBoomParticipantno but still don’t you think its disappointing that a future "superstar" can’t manage to make a single shot against a college team? even as far as bad games go, this is disappointing for the next big thing in the league

HaleParticipantCurry was double teamed in that game literally the entire night, took 2 shots, and won by 30. You cannot compare those two performances.
