delfamParticipanthe is playing very well, but I’d still like to see him drive to the lane more. If his jump shot isn’t falling like it is tonight he has to be able to score inside.

stanford hoopsYou won’t see him
Drive to much. Hofstra is playing a 3-2 zone/2-3. You swing it right and you get alot if open looks on the wing and at the foul line0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/18/2010 - 1:43pm #438061

JoeWolf1Call me crazy, but John Henson is the real deal. He’s only gonna get bigger and he plays like a post, rebounds blocks shots and has very good agility and length. If Derrick Favors is doing what he is right now, I expect John Henson to be an immediate contributer as well next year.

butidonthavemoneyI’m a huge Henson fan. He’s my favorite player in college basketball.
But he has some work to do. Obviously his strength, but also his decision making and outside shooting ability are in dire need of improvement.
Should be lottery whenever he declares.

JoeWolf1I hear you man, I think his development was kicked into high gear with Ed Davis going down and him being forced to play big minutes for a bad UNC team last year. Like you said, the strength thing is his biggest issue, but he plays like a power forward, and his willingness to play in the post and not shy away towards tweener tendancies make me think that when he hits 235-240 lbs ( which he will, he’s only 19-20) he’s gonna be a really solid player.

omphalosParticipantPlaying against zones most of my life, it’s difficult for perimeter players to penetrate too much, luckily Barnes has a well-rounded game and can fall back on his jumper when faced with such tactics. Can’t wait to see him in the NBA.
Henson is also one of my favourite players, obviously needs to bulk up, but definitely has the potential to at least start somewhere in the NBA – Indiana might be a good fit, but I’m not sure they’ll be in the lottery this season the way the East is shaping up.

hiphopismylifeParticipantyeah delfam he is an instinctive and cerebral guy. He knows how to get himself to the rack when the jumper isn’t falling.
