nateoak10ParticipantWhat if MIA got him? They have 7 expirings, he’d basically take all there cap space though and they’d still be thin off the bench but could put in Pittman
What about NY?GSW (they have some big expirings)? Whome else?

NYK2010ParticipantHe won’t sign with Miami,. The Knicks that would be great to pair him up with Amare they’d complement each other but I won’t hold my breath for that happening. The Warriors doubtful he leaves Orlando for them. How about Portland or Houston if Oden and Yao aren’t around their current teams. The Clippers if they got their act together are a long shot but you never know. I do think he’ll stay with Orlando but they have to be smarter with the cap. Rashard Lewis has a terrible contract, Duhon and Gortat are overpaid for backups. Also where is the young talent Ryan Anderson and Daniel Orton not exactly big time young prospects. They foolishly traded Courtney Lee thinking Vince Carter was that missing 2nd scorer but that hasn’t panned out.

M-DYMESParticipantMinnesota.
PG: Flynn
SG: Wes Johnson
SF: Beasley
PF: Love
C: D12
I highly, highly doubt it, but C is a huge missing piece for Minny.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe would get the ball a lot more. Lots of dunks and easy baskets. I want to see him play with a good PG. He would be a nightmare with the Celtics.

TC_42ParticipantHe should sign with who he said was the best player in the league… Durant.
Dwight would obviously help any team he went to, but he would put the Thunder over the top next year to be real contenders because that’s their major hole.

HitsterParticipantThe Lakers have Andrew Bynum team option for 2012/13 so that could be a huge trading chip if they chose to use it. Dallas also have projected salary space and would no doubt agressively push any S and T options but I’d assume that with Melo being an FA next year, and so many top players expiring in 2012 then there will be numerous teams trying to make a run at the 2012 FA market.
With regard to the Knicks, I think everyone assumes they will pursue Melo actively next summer or sooner and then a top PG seems to be their other desire so I doubt they’d have enough cap space to make a run at Dwight in 2012 unless it was an S and T.
Dwight also seems quite happy at Orlando and with Carter’s big team option and a new nice dealable pieces, I’d expect Otis Smith to try and get the roster even more depth over the next year or so as they have all their future draft picks I still believe.

SteroidParticipantI think Dwight is pretty happy in Orlando, but if they become stagnant in terms of just making to the semi-finals/conference finals every year then they’ll have to make some changes in order for Dwight to want to stay like getting someone who can actually run the team and make plays.

HaleParticipantHopefully he doesn’t follow Shaqs career path and go to the Lakers. Dwight seems like too nice of a guy to just leave Orlando, and lets be honest it’s got great weather, great team and he’s the face of it.

MelParticipantI would love for him to go home to his hometown Hawks. They would have to sign and trade Josh or Horford but I would give up anyone on that team for Dwight.
One can wish, cant he "/
