Toronto16ParticipantIf you have NBA league pass go watch the Knicks and T-Wolves right now. Kevin Love is absolutely snapping on the boards right now, he has 26!

OhCanada-ParticipantHow could you trade him to me Beasley and Love is a great combo. Beasley drops mad points at will and Love grabs every board in sight when given a chance. You cant trade the leagues best rebounder, (yes hes the best and its not even close).

Im Your FatherParticipant28 points and 31 rebounds is impressive for sure. That is until you see Darko’s outrageous statline of 9 points 4 rebounds a block and a steal. Love is a baller for sure, but he is really just a complementary player to Milicic.

mds0549ParticipantAgainst the Lakers he became the youngest to have a 20 20 5 game since Shaq back in ’93, I want to know when the last 30 30 5 game was. Beasley was a hell of a steal for 2nd round picks and is already worth it.

joecheck88Participantand my statement isnt really based on his talent, i just dont believe a 6 foot 8(maybe 6 foot 9) power forward that isnt a great defender can help me win a championship(see carlos boozer vs lakers). he cant guard the gasols, garnetts, boshs of the world.
but its not about that tonight, great game k love!

Im Your FatherParticipantYea, I mean how can you expect to beat the T-wolves when Darko goes off for 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block and a steal. There’s not much you can do when a superstar is red hot like that. The Knicks probably aren’t even angry about losing, they are just honored that Darko allowed them to share the court with him.

SwatLakeCityParticipantLove had an awesome game. Show me some love man. But Darko, what are you guys talking about. How is 9 points, 4 boards a block and a steal a beast? I’m puzzled. Clearly no one knows what a true star is. That would be K-love. You can’t beat 31 and 31. K-love is no complementary player, certainly not to Darko. Today he was the star, and he will always be the star when compared to Darko.

NYK2010ParticipantLove was sick and Beasley was on fire. D’antoni has Gallo on Beasley to start and that doesn’t work in fact it keeps the Twolves close in the 1st half.
Not sure how many of you watched the game but D’antoni deserves a lot of the blame for the Knicks losing this one. He let Beasley and Love basically beat them alone in the 2nd half. How about calling a time out and telling the team to run the offense not taking quick 3’s especially up double digits. The team is money on free throws but keeps taking 3’s instead Chandler and Gallo 17 combined 3 pt attempts wow. D’antoni doesn’t double Beasley make Telfair hit a shot he wasn’t looking to score at all. Also Amare is the leader of the team and while the team is blowing the lead your best player is on the bench he played a minute in the 3rd qtr while the lead shrunk from 21 to 7. If you see Amare in the locker room after the game he was dejected not used to losing and he wanted to be out there. The lineup of Chandler at PF and Amare at Center isn’t working. Need to start Amare at Pf and Mozgov at Center till Turiaf comes back even if he’s foul prone at least he’s a 7 footer. Chandler had 6 rebs playing 42 mins that won’t get it done for your PF. Knicks are 9th in the league in rebounding but obviously with Turiaf hurt and Amare sitting with foul trouble their not the same team on the boards. Also Bill Walker gets no mins with so many guys struggling and Walker is a guy who has range and can get to the rim.
Turiaf is already out so the only bigs they have are Mozgov, Amare and Antony Randolph. Basically Love is man handling the Knicks esp. in the 3rd qtr he had 15 rebs in the 3rd qtr alone. Walt Frasier was dumbfounded to why no one put Love on the ground thats when you have a veteran on the floor who does that. Instead they have young guys like Gallo and Chandler getting dominated by Love. Love is a great rebounder who just had 23 rebs on the Lakers a few nights ago. Apparently Love whispered to Beasley in the 3rd qtr I might go for 30 tonight. If they go with Amare at Center the Rockets with Scola at PF he might get 20 rebs on Sunday he’s already averaging 12 rebs a game.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipant3-6 Knicks with losses to Philly, Minny, and GS. So much for my thought that they’d at least hang around .500 for a month before sinking like dogs. Minnesota now has 3 of their 20 wins for the year. Good for them. I’m sure the Love stat line will go down with the 20-21 quarter as high points on bad teams. Atlanta by three touchdowns over ‘sota on Sunday.

NYK2010ParticipantYeah he did have 15 rebs in the 3rd qtr with Amare on the bench. D’antoni had Chandler and Gallo on them not exactly guys u want in the paint if your the Knicks. Put in Mozgov at least he’s a 7 footer the foul trouble doesn’t matter he’s not going to play 40 mins anyway. Gotta question what the coach is thinking.

gregoden08ParticipantIs one of the best rebounders I’ve ever seen. For someone with average length and athleticism he really knows how to use his body and positions himself better than anyone in the league. I mean, he is averaging 15 rpg in under 30 minutes! That is amazing. I knew he was going to be the best rebounder in the league eventually because he averaged 10 rpg with a dominant rebounder in Jefferson in limited minutes. Now only if he knew how to play defense….

ballaj334Participantcan someone tell me that up untill this point all you here about is how good joakim noah is and how hes a game changer and everyone including his coach is quiet on Love. This kid will win the rebounding title and finishing averaging between 18 and 20 points. An absolute stud!

HitsterParticipantInsane performance by Kevin Love and a great game by Michael Beasley but the Knicks were too easily dominated around the boards and when you have a big lead it was crying out for a veteran leader to slow down the tempo and look for the right shots. A team chasing the game has to try for 3 pointers or to speed up play when the game time is ticking by, Coach D’Antoni should have certainly put STAT back in the game in the 3rd quarter.
