How is he an announcer? I know LeBron is big and all, but he was trying to say he outweighed Big Baby. Big Baby outweighed LeBron when he was in diapers. Also, Arroyo has driven me crazy. When he is not shooting well, he should not be on the court, and he is not shooting well.

I’d start Haslem over Bosh. He’s reliable knocking down the jumper and he also does the dirty work. He defends hard and rarely misses a rotation.

I’d bring Bosh come off the bench, so he can be the first option with the second unit.

Bosh cant come off the bench…Great idea thou Id do it in a heartbeat, it would be a very good tempo change to Take James and Wade off for 5 minutes and leave Bosh on to get heated up. It would also really involve him in the game and have him feel more into it when Wade and Lebron return from their 5 minute rest.

I didn’t post that I believed Bosh would be benched for Haslem.

I was just making a suggestion. That doesn’t mean I think Haslem is a better player than Bosh. Haslem does all of the little things. He can pick and pop or pick and roll. He knocks down that little jumpshot with consistency. He’s constantly moving and active. He’s vocal at the defensive end. He’s a tough defender. He rebounds. He hustles and brings that energy. There’s no way Rondo gets that dunk if Haslem is under the rim. That’s a hard foul.

It’s gotta hurt fir some to watch Miami not running all over Boston.  Told ya Boston isn’t too old and that they are the best team in the east reguardless. Of records come playoff time. The road to the title game goes through Boston in the east. Said it before the season, stand by it now, and will stand by it at the end of the regular season. This is the only team I worry about the lakers meeting in the finals

And people where trying to make the debate that Bosh was better than Gasol before the season. At least Gasol can impact the game other than scoring, and he can play with good, quality players without disappearing… Gasol is coached better, but the way Bosh is playing, as a big man, coaching is only a fraction of the problem…

Celtics won, and Dwyane Wade did play as badly as he did in the first game. No excuses though, the Celtics were the better team, played really well and the Heat had plenty of chances they did not capitalize on. I still think the notion of Wade and LeBron not playing well together is garbage though, and I just feel that chemistry will come with time. It is clear that they may need to look at different line-ups though, because Arroyo and Anthony are still as ineffective as starters as before. Anthony was supposed to be a defensive presence, and that does not seem to be happening, and Arroyo, damn, the guy is a good back-up PG, but he just sucks the tempo out of the game for Miami. Arroyo used to play with so much flair, used to love to run, what happened? I thought Eddie House and Udonis Haslem played really well though, it was a pity that only LeBron really killed it out of the "Big 3". Terrible defensive rotations throughout the game, Ray Allen was open so many times on just horrible rotations. But the Heat need to look at how the Celtics move the ball. LeBron is really the only player on the Heat right now that looks for others on offense. Even Wade, who is known for his court vision as well, is having a difficult time looking for others. I still have faith it will work out, but this is a really bad start. The Celtics got things together really quickly, but with the Heat, that has not at all been the case. They need to play with more toughness, and I am thinking that means you have to play those who play the hardest and toughest.

What they need is for LeBron to stop thinking he has to do everything off of the dribble.

As usual… LeBron put up great numbers and had better success with the "scrubs" than with Wade and Bosh.

He plays like he did in Clevland and Wade is loss in the game. Lebron feeds the 3 point shooters and nothing else. He is not a good compliment to that team. It will be him against the best defenses with Wade and Bosh lost. They will get better, but roles are not defined and I think this team does not get along with each other. Pressure mounts cuz of the media and they will turn on each other from the pressure.

Scout4real, the blame doesn’t just fall on Lebron’s shoulders. It’s not like Wade was playing well. Also, of course roles are being defined, they’ve played a total of 9 games together ever.

I really think that having Pat Riley take over would really help this team. They need a coach that can design a game plan that will make the pieces fit together.

It also seems to be a bit premature to say that they are turning on each other, especially because they are actually friends.

Man, why is it always LeBron’s fault? You and I both watched the game, LeBron was the only one really creating anything for the Heat. Not only was he their only consistent source of scoring, but he ran the pick and pop with Haslem to perfection and set up Eddie House on numerous occasions. I also felt like he was the only one of the "Big 3" moving the ball. Yes, LeBron does over dribble at times, but was he really the issue here? I am not saying he was perfect by any means, he could have played better, but he did what he has consistently done against the Celtics (with Game 5 as the possible exceptiation), he had a solid all-around game and pretty much owned Paul Pierce. I feel like Dwyane Wade was the real issue here, and while some of that may lie on LeBron as the given facillitator, most of the time it was D-Wade trying to take things into his own hands and not being able to get it done. I feel with time they will develop a chemistry, but when the team gets stagnant, which has happened numerous times over their two games with the Celtics, LeBron creating off of the dribble has been the only thing keeping them in the game. One thing I definitely think though is that this team has to learn how to move the ball around. The Celtics constantly were getting to dangerous spots on the court, drawing doubles and getting tons of open looks. Chris Bosh also needs to study and learn from Udonis Haslem. He executed the pick and pop so damn beautifully, if Bosh even did close to the same thing he would easily average 20 per game.

This goes to show how coaching multiple top tier players is underrated from a coaching standpoint. We tend to talk about how Phil had Jordan, Pippen, Shaq, and Kobe, and how Doc didn’t become a good coach until he got Kevin and Ray. That little theory has been debunked… This proves why Phil IS the GOAT at coaching

True, if Phil didn’t institute the triangle offense I don’t think Kobe or Jordan would have as many championships as they do.  They would’ve been great, but Phil’s system helped a lot.

True, if Phil didn’t institute the triangle offense I don’t think Kobe or Jordan would have as many championships as they do.  They would’ve been great, but Phil’s system helped a lot.

It wasnt lebrons fault. He did his job. Wade didnt step up and i dont wanna hear the excuse " other guys fazzed otu while he shined" because thats bull. haslem didnt seem to be "fazed out" the turth of the matter is other didnt step up. its no excuse for someone to not play well just because another player is getting in there grove or even shooting alot because the game is more then just scoring. if youre off on offense then you can lock down on defense or rebound steals etc. Thats why i like haslem because even if hes not shooting well or shooting alot hes gonna go hit the boards or do other things to help his team win

    wade didnt step up

    bosh didnt step up

    lebron did

    it is really that simple

imo this heat team would certainly be better than 5-4 if phil j was coaching hed already have on offense in place which it doesnt look erik s does but the main reason imo would be we wouldnt be seeing carlos arryo anywhere near a basketball court i still have no idea why arryo continues to play when he brings nothing to the court but missing open shots and sum of the worst d in history

It’s not always LeBron’s fault, BUT isn’t he supposed to be the best player in the league? Of course I’m going to hold him accountable. LeBron left Cleveland because he said he wanted superstar teammates, but I don’t think his style of play suits it. He’s so ball dominant and needs to do everything off of the dribble that nobody else can get in a groove. Bosh isn’t just a pick and pop player. He needs his touches. Wade isn’t just a catch and shoot jump shooter. He needs his own touches, and he needs them in the flow. Everything can’t always be LeBron and he has to learn to play off of the ball and put himself in other positions to be successful instead of being in dribble dribble dribble mode. We’ve seen where that gets his teams.

I don’t think LeBron makes his teammates as better as people think.

Read everything scout4real posted. I agree with him 100%.

I really like your idea of bringing Bosh of the bench Tezo. I know his ego would never allow it but maybe you move LeBron to the bench to go with the second unit. Still give him his minutes but let him play with the shooters who open up the floor and let him be ball dominant with the second unit. Then let Wade and Bosh work together with the first unit. I know a lot of people are going to crazy when they see the word LeBron and bench, I’m just saying for the good of the team at this point, the superstars should be split up and LeBron plays his best with the guys like House and Jones. Only problem I see with that is they don’t develop any chemistry, so maybe they try and tough it out until they can get that going for them.

Uh oh… Is that your first excuse? Already? Remember what you said before the season started… I’m going to hold you to it.

Yeah I know it will get a big negative reaction, but do you think it’s a good idea? He can do his thing with the second unit a lot better and let Wade and Bosh do their thing too with the first. Honestly I think he is the best player in the game, but his style doesn’t fit with Wade and Bosh at all at this point.

I don’t think it’s a good idea. LeBron is too great to come off of the bench.

I’d rather see Wade and Bosh come off of the bench before LeBron. We know what LeBron can do with role players in the starting lineup… 60+ games, homecourt advantage throughout the entire post season and a very good chance at making the NBA Finals. We can’t say that about Wade or Bosh.

That’s just how great LeBron is. I know this will be cheesy, but like Ben Parker said in Spiderman… "With great power comes great responsibility." LeBron has all of the power. It’s on his shoulders whether or not this team wins the next several championships. Yes… I am holding him accountable.

He just needs to dial back his ego and adapt his game to play off of other players. He has to trust his teammates, and I don’t mean with kickout jumpshots. Similar to what Jordan and Kobe had to do. He has to let other players do their thing and trust in the system that the Heat have in place. They won a title with this same system.

The only thing that can hurt the Heat is to overreact to games played in October and early November. Look at their schedule between now and XMas. This is where they are going to get fat.
