ghettosermonParticipantWhat are his prospects in the 2011 or 2012 drafts? Is he a possible lottery pick? I know people love to compare him to Lonny Baxter because of the school but he definitely looks taller and way more athletic. I just love what a see in Williams. Huge kid and a rare traditional old school post bruiser, he also has extremely soft hands, good passing skills, and plays with lots of intensity. Anyone else think he has lottery potential?

JNixonParticipantHe has late 1st round potential. He’s taller than Baxter and probably wider at 6’10 280, so I’d think he’d have a better chance at success. He’s a 2012 or 2013 prospect, but I do think he’ll be an impact player for Maryland this year. He reminds me of a shorter version of Roy Hibbert honestly.

stanford hoopsI see him as a 2012 prospect. He’s bigger but a tad less athletic. Lonnie was shorter but could still get up and down the court and bang on you (vert measured at 34inch his soph year). In the two games this year jordan has been balling hopefully he can keep it up

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI think the Baxter comparisons are fair in that they are both intense, bad-bodied Maryland big men with decent skills. The problem with Baxter wasn’t on the court. If it was only about what he was able to do on the court, Baxter would have never fallen out of the NBA, but he wasn’t good enough to be as dumb as he was with guns.
