fastforward322ParticipantThe Heat should just let LeBron run the point. It’s worth a shot to see how it works out. They should trade Arroyo because he really isn’t fitting the offense (if you can call it that). They should move Miller, when he comes back, to the starting SF. That’s just what I would try, but does anyone else have any ideas for improvement?

pf- bosh,anthony
sf- james jones, miller
sg- wade, miller/house

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe UNETHICAL thing, but business move is to trade Chris Bosh for a good center and a point guard.
Hornets get:
Bosh
Heat get:
Okafor
Bayless
Then the Hornets can trade David West while he’s still a good commodity.

creepingdefParticipantPutting Chalmers in perhaps? I really rated him during his rookie season when he was averaging 10pts, 2stls and 5 assists. I don’t know why he doesn’t get enough playing time, but he could really establish himself if given the opportunity.
The bench is another issue, they don’t really have the pieces at the moment to pull off anything major, so it looks like they’ll have to wait til the offseason to sign someone decent for the MLE. Guys like Kenyon Martin and TJ Ford are expiring this season, and I could see them signing for the MLE.
I’m liking what James Jones is doing though, he’s been knocking 3s like mad.

SERBIAN BALLER 16Participantor the more realistical thing
Peja and a second rounder for Jamaal Anthony think about it the hornets need a big man , they get one who can play pf and c and the heat could use Peja and deal away stackhouse, eddie house for a decent center, starting lineups with subs
hornets
c- okafor,anthony
pf- west,anthony/mbenga
sf-ariza,pondexter
sg-belinelli, willie green,thorton?
pg- paul,bayless
heat-
c- nenad krstic,big z
pf- bosh, haslem
sf- miller,peja
sg-wade, james jones
pg-lebron, arroyo
trade to thunder big man because they hav 7 guys at pf and c, with krstic and collison’s contracts expires

goneParticipantYou cant trade Bosh now….What they need to do is go ahead and bring Pat down from the box to the sideline
Run more diverse sets that allow Bosh to get more mid range shots instead of posting him up, Run Wade off more screens, let Lebron run point, sit arroyo, start house or chalmers

SteroidParticipantThe bad thing about putting LeBron at point is that I really don’t believe he can guard other PGs, so they need someone out there who can guard the opposing PG. He tried to do that in the playoffs against Rondo and that ended badly. LeBron is more effective off-ball than on-ball too. The Heat just need a PG who is a good defender and can spread the floor. LeBron can bring the ball up and assume PG. He doesn’t necessarily have to play PG. So really, I agree and disagree with you.

sheltwon3ParticipantMiami can just sign Earl Barron who played really well for the Knicks in spot minutes. I think he would play better than Anthony and he is a legit 7 feet with long arms. They need to play Chalmers or trade him for Johnny Flynn. Think about it, Minny would be stupid enough to do this and honestly this would be an equal deal and with Ridnour playing like he is and Rubio supposely coming over, Flynn is expendable. Flynn is not as good on defense but he is better offensively i think than Chalmers but I think it would be close and give Miami a different look. Getting Damp would have been their best move but I guess they are not trying to get him and he does not what to go there.

SteroidParticipantI was talking about D in the previous sentences, so I would assume one would know I was talking about LeBron’s defense.

omphalosParticipantThough I’m loathe to suggest anything that would help the Heat, they should run Lebron at the point on offense, have Wade defend PGs on D like we saw him doing with CP3 late in game last night, with Lebron and James Jones defending at the 2/3. House’s shot has looked off and Jones deserves the starting spot. Arroyo is beyond useless though.
