Wiz, I’m not bashing him at all. I think right now, he’s making the right moves in trying to get the teammates to score 1st, but I rather see him score first, look to pass 2nd.

speaking of the Wizards..I saw on someone’s Twiitter Page that writes for  a DC Newspaper, that the Wizard Organization Suspended Arenas 5 games for Faking that injury…They say Arenas recieved a 50,000 fine and a 5 game suspension..dont know if the suspension is true..

His jumper is a problem, but we all knew it was a problem coming into the season and he’s still young. Give him time. His jumper will get better as time goes on.I heard that he’s been dedicated to improving that jumper, so you know he puts in the work.

He still struggles to create in the half-court which he might struggle with for a while, but is great in transition, wheter he scores or gives an assist. What he needs is good shooters. Once he gets good shooters around him, his play should improve.

Just give him a few years and he will be a top NBA PG.

Al Thornton has really impressed me with his play. He is very tough and aggressive, has a nice mid-range shot, and plays good D. He showed good work ethic over the offseason because he admitted he was overweight last season and shed some pounds during the offseason. He does need to improve his 3-point shot though.

His shot is below average no matter how you slice it, but he does show the ability to make 15 foot shots off the dribble sporadically, which is kinda rare for a "bad shooter."

He probably will be able to play minutes at the SG spot as his jump shot improves, but he’s definitely a PG. He shows too much passing skills to not be a primary PG.

Would you put Westbrook or Rose at SG if they gained a more reliable jumper? I wouldnt their quickness and strength at the PG position is too much of an advantage to pass up. Imagine if they are able to draft a great SF like Harrison Barnes, or Perry Jones and aqcuire a Center like Gasol this offseason. That would be a very good lineup with McGee getting minutes at PF .

As a John Wall/Wizards fan, I think it would be better if the Wizards tanked this year instead of getting the 8th seed and getting destroyed by the Heat so they can get another top 5 pick. Next year’s draft’s top 5 is oozing with potential

John Wall will be rookie of the year because he will get the minutes and make Wiz respectable and the 8th spot is for grabs.  Also it is better for a younger team to get to the playoffs then back to the lottery.  playoff experience no matter how painful is good for young teams growth.  I like Blake’s game but he can’t help the Clips by himself and he does not have the personality to go outside of the team’s concept to get  points and stats.  I am not saying Wall is but Wall is in the position where he is the offense and everything for the Wiz while Arenas is out.

I would rather drive to the hole and draw fouls and shoot lay-ups instead of settling for contested jumpers. But he probably didn’t drive a lot because he still lacks explosiveness because he isn’t in great shape yet because of that broken foot.
