OhCanada-ParticipantWestbrook vs. Rose- Argueable the greatest debate in basketball today aside from Lebron/Kobe, the debate continues. After playing together in the summer with team USA both players "plan" too showcase their extended range, and more aggressive defensive approaches. They will go head to head, no if and buts about it.
Paul vs. Jennings- Two of the games most exciting PG’s play in this matchup with 2 teams that have much to prove. Jennings doesnt look like he has learned too shoot yet. Paul is the most complete Pg ive ever watched play.
Bargnani vs. Stoudemire- Although the starting lineups wont say they are gonna be gaurding eachother there will be times when they are matchedup together, especially with Ed Davis and Anthony Randolph injured. Both players will look to prove they will be fine being #1 options without their former running mates.
Gay vs.Johnson- This matchup was supposed to be Horford vs Gasol except Gasol is down with an ankle injury. So assumin JJ will play SF the matchup becomes JJ and Gay.

I understand the Stoudemire being a #1 thing. But do you really believe Bargnani will be a #1 guy?

OhCanada-ParticipantI believe what I said, that he will try to prove it. Also to be honest I believe he most definitely will be a number one option, noone said he will be a good one lol.

OhCanada-ParticipantStoudemire is actaully fine without Nash, its Nash who will struggle more without Amare.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI’m interested because this Toronto team doesn’t have bad players, I just feel thier a young squad.

SubZeroParticipantI can’t wait to see the battle of the PGs, but not as much as I’m pumped to watch Blake Griffin
Prediction: Toronto will have a winning season in 3 years

kaceyParticipantI saw in another thread Holiday will be guarding Wade. That should be a good matchup. Wade struggled last night and should bounce back, so Jrue will have his hands full all night.

IndianaBasketballParticipantKaman and Griffin vs Camby and Aldridge should be an entertaining front court matchup.

OhCanada-ParticipantThey just dont have any overwhelming difference makers. Every succsessful team needs at least one. This Raptors training camp was the most intense one in Team History (which isnt saying much other then) Jay Triano is really coming into his own as a Head Coach. Before being promoted to Head Coach Jay was being thought of as an elite Assistant Coach and making that transition must have been tough on him.
Jay may not even win 30 games this year but he will get the most out of his guys, and he has made it clear that this is HIS team not Bryan Colengelos, not Chris Boshs. Whoevers on the floor is there because Jay said so. This is something weve never seen in Toronto and as the Raps rebuild I love it.
