JNixonParticipantAlabama:Senario Hillman- Freakishly athletic combo guard…Really prolific finisher and dunker on the break…Has long arms and a strong and stocky build at 6’1"… More style than substance as of now…While he shows nice flashes every now and then he needs to improve his handle and shooting ability to be taken seriously as a prospect…Has the potential to live up to his potential as a Senior thoughJaMychal Green- Long and athletic 6’9 PF with a skinny frame…Can post or face-up but his back to basket game is very raw…Energetic shot-blocker who needs strength to improve…Lacks polishTony Mitchell- Physically gifted 6’6 195 swingman with good athleticism and length…Can make plays at the rim and in the passing lanes on D…Alright on-ball defender, who has the ability to be very good…Not a shooter or shot-creator…Long term prospectArkansas:Rotnei Clarke- A deadly deep ball shooter at 6’0 185…A REALLY deadly shooter…Sucks at everything else and is a below average athleteMarshaun Powell- A very good athlete as a 6’7 225 PF…Had a good freshman season for a bad Arkansas team…Plays with a motor…Has good touch…Not skilled or talented offensively really…Will be 21 as a Sophomore…Mediocre rebounder…Just like the rest of his teammates, below average DFlorida:Chandler Parsons- He, NOT KENNY BOYNTON, is the most naturally talented player on their team…Good shooter and passer… Can create his own shots…Very good athleticism and size…He’s a 6’9 guy who can play on the wing and even as a stretch PF in college…Strong in transition…Makes clutch shots… Look for him to emerge as a breakout player in the SEC next year…Not very strong…Needs to get better on D…Should be a 1st round prospect…He, not Gordon Hayward, is the next Mike Miller type prospect…Kenny Boynton- 6’2 volume shooter does have a strong jumper, but he’s not a PG at all and teams will want him to show that he can be a PG at least in spurts…Plays solid D most times…Plays with high confidence, which is a gift and a curse…Was very inefficient last year as a shooter, but shot a bunch of them anyway…Only decent athleticism and handles…Patric Young- A supremely athletic guy with long arms at 6’8…Explosive finisher…Very active and aggressive…Not afraid of contact…Good rebounding ability…Solid and versatile defender…Not very skilled offensively…Not a guy you really want to run offense through alot…Will be an immediate fan favorite in Gainesville…Will play extended minutes, likely as a 6th manAlex Tyus- 6’8 215 PF with good athleticism and grit…Will finish strong at the rim…Strong offensive rebounder…Active…Has an extremely sound mid-range game…Can pick and pop…Has the ability to defend every frontcourt spot at this level…Mediocre defensive rebounder…Not a shot-creator…Isn’t nearly as good a back to basket player as a face-up guy…Vernon Macklin- Long 6’10 235 lb big isn’t very talented offensively…But he is a good shot-blocker and has a solid hook shot…Soft touch…Not very fast or athletic…Mediocre rebounder…Mike Rosario- Transfer from Rutgers will sit out the 2010-2011 year…A quick and aggressive combo guard with a score first mentality…Nice handles and pure talent…Good athlete…Takes A LOT of bad shots…Not a PG really and won’t pass the ball that much…Bad D…Plays wildCasey Prather- An athletic 6’6 Fr. wing who plays outstanding D…Can run and is a good transition player…Needs to work on his shot and handle a bit moreGeorgiaaaaaaaa:Travis Leslie- The 6’4 Leslie is the most athletic player in the nation HANDS DOWN…Explosive dunker…Fast as hell, jumps out of the building, and is very fluid and agile…Also has a monster wingspan…Athleticism makes him outstanding as a rebounder and shot-blocker on the wing…Decent mid-range jumper, but needs to improve his handle quite a bit…Alright defender, but needs to improve awareness…Should be a top 20 pick in 2011. Desmond Mason cloneTrey Thompkins- Mismatch problem…Can shoot the 3 ball, score in the the mid-range, and play with his back to the basket. Huge hands and long arms…Not very athletic or quick, but he’s strong and has a high IQ…Rebounds the ball well…Looks good passing the ball…Should be a lotto pick in 2011…Reminds me of David WestKentucky:Brandon Knight- Gary Payton 2.0?…Defends like a mad man, a good shooter, strong body, can run a team, and is a good slasher…Won’t show it next year, but he has post-up potential too down the line with his size (6’4 190)…Likely top-10 pick in 2011.Enes Kanter- He’s a big bodied post man with a developed frame (6’9 240) and a strong back to basket game…Also a good passer and mid-range shooter…Pretty good rebounder and has the potential to develop on D…Reminds me of Andrew Bogut…Likely top 5 pick in 2011…Will he play for the Wildcats??Terrence Jones- 6’8 220 combo forward has some nice mismatch ability. Can shoot the ball as deep as the college 3-point line, is a good passer, and has good athleticism. Needs to improve on D, but he has a fundamental approach to the game. Plays like Marvin Williams. Potential lottery pick in 2011.DeAndre Liggins- A long 6’6 utility man who plays every perimeter spot…Is a smooth athlete…Nice strength…Can handle the ball and pass pretty well…Plays great D…Low basketball IQ…Not a scorer…Can’t shoot…Would make a good 6th man for UK next year…Darius Miller- A nice sized wing at 6’6 220…Can shoot the ball from deep and mid range…Decent athlete…Miss. State:Ravern Johnson- Deep ball shooter who can also get out and make nice athletic plays in transition….Good athleticism and quickness….Poor ball-handling limits his slashing ability. Needs to get bigger and stronger (6’7 185).Dee Bost- A 6’2 PG with great athleticism, quickness and an aggressive mentality…Can create for himself and others…Good shot…Looks great in transition and in the drive and dish…Not necessarily a sound decision maker all the time…Plays too wild quite a bit…Not very strong…Dribbles too much oftentimes…Should improve on D…He plays like a poor mans Brandon Jennings…Will be an interesting prospect in 2012Renardo Sidney- Big-bodied big man who can score and be a decent rebound the same way a guy like Zach Randolph can…Can face up or post…Likes to face up more than post though right now, which is problematic in some ways…Will be interesting to see if Coach Stansbury “makes him a traditional big instead of big bodied face-up guy, similar to how Calipari did with Cousins…Dribbles the ball well for a 6’9 265 lb guy…Good passer when he decides to do so…Needs to tone up his body and get in ideal conditioning…Also a nonchalant defender…Does he love the game?..Still, his talent will make him a 1st rounder in 2011 in all likelihood…Ole Miss:Chris Warren- He’s fast as hell and one of the best pure shooters in the nation…He’s not a true PG and he’s extremely ball-dominant and wild…Also small and narrow which limits him around the rim (5’11 170)…Still, puts points on the board in bunchesTerrance Henry- He’s along that skinny and tall SG/SF (6’9 195) who can score and shoot it very well….Good athlete with long strides and smooth movements…Long term potential…Not very aggressive, tough, or strongTennessee:Tobias Harris- Huge talent with inside-outside ability at 6’8 220…Can score and reminds me of Al Harrington with his scoring ability at all 3 levels…Not that athletic and is a tweener, but he’s capable of scoring big and rebounding too…Could be a 2011 or 2012 1st round prospect.Scotty Hopson- 6’7 190 lb Hopson has great shooting ability and touch on the wing, and he’s a great athlete…Still, he’s is a terrible ball-handler which limits his slashing ability and he is a HORRIBLE defender…Also coasts through games and disappears alot…Has Von Wafer type potential at SG, he has to make some improvements somewhere next year…Vanderbilt:Jeff Taylor- Elite athleticism and defensive ability…Great size and strength at 6’7 210…Can score around the rim and in transition….Still, he’s a poor shooter with a lack of range, and ball-handling is also terrible…Cant create for himself much…Ball slows him down…Still, he’s a projected 1st round prospect because of his D and athleticismJohn Jenkins- He’ll prove to be the best shooter in college basketball next season, but he’s below average at everything else…Still, his shot is cash and he has OK size for a SG…Can score from mid-range and beyond the arc0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/26/2010 - 8:13am #419085

RUDEBOY_ParticipantKentucky will have a Blue-White scrimmage tonite that’ll be shown on shown Fox channelss..
lol..I agree with your comparisions of Tobias Harris to Harrington..But Harris is a bigger rebounder than Harrington..
Dont sleep on Josh Harrellson..Alot of people were surprise how well he played on the China trip…He could do for Kentucky what Brian Zoubek did for Duke last season..Be that veteran big body that had been mostly a practice player, but comes on in his final season to give that rebounding, shot blocking and interior defense they need…

JNixonParticipantHe’s not the ball-handler D.Wade is. Wade could get his own shots easily and Wade also was a combo guard in college, Leslie is more of a SG/SF than Wade has ever been. Leslie is more like Desmond Mason than D.Wade.

JNixonParticipantHe’s much more athletic than Dyson, and less wild and ball-dominant too. He’s also less perimeter oriented offensively.

WizardofOzParticipantWhere do you project Patric Young to be drafted when he declares/graduates? DraftExpress has him being drafted #2 overall in their 2012 mock draft.

Lotto StudParticipantWhen I hear Kenny Boynton’s name 1 comparison comes to mind and that’s Dajuan Wagner. They both are/were high prolific scorers, with the mentality of I am going to get mine.
Out of al the prospects on the list the player that I am very high on is Renardo Sidney, because this guy has tons and tons of potential to be a GREAT college and pro player IMO.
Time and time again I said it also, Chandler Parsons is the man. Come next June he will shake Sterns hand.
I wish Brandon Knight wouldn’t get overshadowed by Kyrie Irving if it weren’t for that, he would be rated the #1 PG prospect coming out in the 2011 draft class. It just kills me how some people knock him, because he does not WOW you with athleticism or the fancy style of play, this man goes in and gets the job DONE!!!!
Well well well, Scotty Hopson was beamed up all throughout HS as 1 of the top SF prospects in his class, and since then he has did nothing to elevate his game. I look foward to him making the mistake of bolting early, and not staying for his Sr. season to fine tune his game for the next level.
John Jenkins is the next J.J. Reddick, and all I can say is he will shoot his way into the 1st round.
Travis Leslie is a rewind all by himself to remember with that yam on DeMarcus Cousins. With his outstanding size and lack of height for an ELITE NBA SG, he will have to lean more to knocking down the 3 ball to become the prospect GM’s will drool over.
Trey Thompkins will most likely become a lottery pick because he is a very skilled big man.
