OhCanada-ParticipantJosh McRoberts is quickly proving not only his value in terms of fantasy, but also to his teaamates and organization. The Pacers must be excited about his newly found commitment and work ethic which has led to very nice production. McRoberts has been named the officially starter for Indiana at the 4 position, although he has a very short leash with Ford, Dunleavey and Rush on the trade block and Hansborough very capable of outright taking that spot from him.
His minutes are wide open as a starter. You can currently expect 26 to 34 minutes per game depending on how much Coach Obrien likes Hansborough. Josh played in 4 preseason games although had one game where he only recorded 14 minutes due to a minor injury. In the 3 games he played he recorded these stats…
25.6-mpg, 10-ppg, 3.3-apg, 8.6-rpg, 2.6-spg, 1.0-bpg, 0.66-3pts, 55%-FG, 29%-3pt
At about 30-mpg if he can at least come close to maintaining that production he will be a great Fantasy sleeper to add onto your team. Just watch out for upcoming Indiana trades, and watch Hansborough’s progress as well, "he had 19 pts in 19 minutes the last game". A good move would be to grab both players if you can.

Mr. 19134ParticipantMcRoberts can fill a stat sheet up. I have always loved his game he’s extremely versatile.
I think he is going to keep the starting PF spot and really prove a lot of people wrong with his production. He is a perfect fit for Indiana’s system this year and plays smart on both sides of the ball.

kgreeley20ParticipantDo you think that Hibbert’s production will be down due to McRoberts. I read previous reports that Hibbert has improved and should have more production this season.

Mr. 19134ParticipantNo Hibbert should benefit playing alongside McRoberts and should provide Indiana with a great high-low post play.

TheWizardParticipantI really like Roy Hibbert’s game. He has great post moves for someone of his height and is extremely mobile. I really wish that he would put more effort into crashing the boards more and blocking shots.
Also, Hibbert’s stats would not go down because of Mcroberts. The Pacer’s are going be running their offense through Hibbert more this season, so Mcroberts will mostly get the ball off of Hibbert’s passes or missed shots. I really dont think that either Hansborough or Mcroberts will cut it at the starting PF and they will try to target another big like Jason Thompson or Samuel Dalembert.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantMcRoberts is a great Fantasy Pick for the early part of the season..But after the allstar break his minutes might go go down….
Evan Turner is another guy to pick up.becuz of his stat stuffing skills..you wont get many points from him early in the season ,but everything else is there…..

IndianaBasketballParticipantJosh has worked hard and has experience playing in O’Brien’s offense… He’ll be solid as long as he stays confident and keeps his emotions in check.

Counting StarsParticipantI always thought McRoberts could produce given the opportunity. He just hasn’t had many until this season.
