Counting StarsParticipantAt first I thought, "Crap, don’t tell me every team has a DNYCE." But there’s an actual report. I still wouldn’t hold my breath. Not saying it doesn’t make sense or even that it won’t happen, but I’m not looking for this one to go down.

bkballerParticipantKahn is actually dumb enough to give up the whole team for a one year rental of Carmerlo Anthony. Minny getting Melo would be the dumbest move possible because there is ZERO chance he resigns there.

dazeoneParticipantHe is not a difference maker. There is no way I would give up 1/2 of my team for him. Maybe a pick or two and a somewhat established player. He is gonna cost your team assets, draft picks and cap space. I would unload him if I was Denver now because later he will net you pennies on the dollar and this is a forward draft too. Duecess…..He can play but he hasn’t taken over a game that mattered since the Syracuse NCAA tornament ….

CodySLCParticipantCarmelo might not want to play in Minny, but the Wolves have some enticing piece and draft picks.

esperanzafleet69Participantits an atrocity you even posted such a source as this… of course minnesota could make a trade with any team when they’re offering kevin love, but somehow doing the absolute idiotic thing by a 1 season rent on a fring playoff team is so incredibly stupid…
kahn has made decent moves by acquiring beasley and wesley johnson….. and hes gonna be the man that holds all the cards when ricky rubio comes around… he has a few tricks up his sleeve, i think we just have yet to see the center that fits their mold… enes kanter maybe?

AndyBeng2ParticipantNo way this happens, it would be good for Denver, but it would kill Minny. Not a big Melo fan here, I just don’t really see him as a franchise talent that can get you to the Finals. Yes he is good at offense, but he just cannot carry a team far into the playoffs. I wouln’t waste my time if I was the Twolves GM, I would stick w/ the team they have and build through the draft. eventually they will find the right pieces and make a playoff run.

EntropyParticipantWhen i read the title i thought you were going to argue that Michael beasley will become the next Carmelo.

WizardofOzParticipantBleacherreport…GROSS!
Anyway, if Carmelo did get traded, there is no chance he would resign there. Kahn should just stick to his rebuilding plan.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI think universal meant to say Kahn’s "so-called rebuilding plan" meaning he don’t really have one he just "says he does"
either way it weirded me out.
