The raptors are a bad team, but we have lots of potential with young guys that can easily have a break out year.

I personally think they’ll be better than the Cavs and Pistons. They have a lot of potential, so they’ll either surprise or sadly, meet everyone’s expectations of mediocracy

They do have some good young talent . They need to get lucky in this years lottery and draft a Perry Jones or K. Irving. They have Miami’s first round pick as well. With some luck in the draft and if DeRozen, Davis, Weems and Bargnani keep developing , they could be an exciting team.

Every roster looks kinda promising if you look at it separately. Every roster has young talent which might break out! You have to compare the roster with other teams and the best Raptor players, would be only strong bench players or 3rd to 4th options for other teams.

The Pistons will be better because they atleast have some guys who can play defense. If the Pistons decide to trade players like Prince then of course they might drop below the Raptors.

You have to be very optimistic if you want to find a worse team. If I look at other teams you find atleast some guys who can play defense. Ben Wallace is a steal for 2mil. Prince is a very good defender. Varejao is a good defender and rebounder. The Raptors on the other hand have the worst defensive and rebounding center in the league in Bargnani. Jack is probably their best defender and he is a guard. And yes the Cavs will suck hard but Jamison and Mo Will will probably score 20 points each. If I was trying to get the best roster for the next season  I would pick Jamison over Bargnani and Mo-Will over Calderon or Barbosa.

Sorry Raptor Fans, but I think the only way not to get last is if one of the other teams like the Cavs and Pistons decide to rebuild and trade their strong players. I’m not a hater I’m just trying to judge the situation from a neutral standpoint.

I have a feeling that Bargnani will average high numbers, because they’ll run most of their offense through him. Like 23 and 7,5 reb. And people will start yelling that he should be an all-star.

I spitting out these names because to me any free agent or overseas player should look at catching on with this team and trying to make the most of the opportunity. This is a great chance to get some burn and see if you can earn a nice roster spot somewhere else. Weems is a solid starter but better suited off the bench. I just have dreams of super athletic team with no hi IQ in a don nelson system. I hope they try it it would be great.

As a Raptor fan, all I can say to other Raptor fans is pray that Harrison Barnes is a superstar (or Kyle Irving) cause Andrea Bargnani looks really bad, DeRozan plays very uncomfortable, and we need and upgrade at PG.  It’s going to be a rough year.

Hmm, good point about Hedo haha, completely slipped my mind. Definitely need an upgrade at PG position; I’d be trying to get Bayless from Portland if I were the Raptors. The kid is hungry to have a bigger role and is young/talented.
