SupParticipantBlake Griffen may be the most athletic player in the league this year. He reminds me of what Chris Webber could have been. Anyway, with Lebron and D Wade out of the running, Kobe older and a little hurt, Melo confused and Durant tired (world championships) Griffen may have at MVP. His attitude alone gives him a chance.

Cusemen727ParticipantAlthough I do feel that Blake will be a beast this year, prolly be the ROY imo, but I dont think he has a shot at MVP this year, to many elite players in the league for him to be in consideration, but like I said, if he can stay healthy, I certainly think he has the talent to be in the running 2-3 years down the road.

SupParticipantMaybe you’re too young, Chris Webber in 94 was filthy, forget passing the ball he started that when he got old. Don’t forget he beat out Penny for Rookie of the Yr.
Furthermore, I think Griffin can find himself in the convo, I was just posting this because it is a possibility. Do I think he will, nope. However if you look at my premise, I said he is the most athletic player in the NBA this year. To say that the NBA’s most athletic player will win MVP is not a far fetch.

cp33Participantstanfordhoops, Blair was far from dominating Griffin last night. lol. Blair had 6 total rebounds while Griffin had had 17. Blair outscored him by 8, but that is just far from saying he dominated him on the block.
Anyways, I think Griffin will win ROY this year, and MAYBE in a few years, he will be in discussion for MVP. I think he is going to have a 18 point, 10 rebound average this year.

I haven’t seen too many players as athletic as him with that kind of motor. Great hands and feet. Light on his feet and gets off of the floor quick. Strong jumper. He’s a special athlete… Top five in the league.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantpeople are forgetting a whole list of players that can jump over your house…Blake isn’t as athletic as a 31 year old Kobe…and he just broke a knee cap, and was injured while at college…He’s not an MVP caliber player right now and his ceiling is not Karl Malone or Charles Barkley…He’ll be step better than a Young Kenyon Martin…
In fact that always been my comparisson of Blake…A jacked up Kenyon Martin with no attitude issues…Thats very good and Blake could be 2 times better than Martin was because of the work ethic and desire to be a great player…But he hasn’t played an official game yet and he’s an MVP caliber player…Greg Oden has a better shot at MVP than Blake over the next 3 years…Now I like Griffin, he’s a beast and has that quiet fire you like in guy but C’Mon Guys
