What are your thoughts on these trade ideas? Who would say yes to each trade?

Andrei Kirilenko for Eddy Curry and Anthony Randolph.

Monta Ellis and Radmanovic for Vince Carter.

    Quinton Ross for Chuck Hayes.

    Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem.

Elton Brand, Jrue Holiday, and Evan Turner for Al Horford, Josh Smith, and Maurice Evans.

Bynum, Artest, and Vujacic for Marion, Kidd, and Caron Butler.

Arenas and Wall for B. Griffin and B. Davis.

Yes, I’m serious. If you’d like a detailed explanation on each, I’d be willing to share it with you. For example, the Knicks will swap draft picks with the Rockets if they fare worse than them. It would be better for them to acquire AK (who also has an expiring contract) so they can make a push for the 5-6 spot in the East. Stoudemire would play the 5 while AK the 4. The Jazz, on the otherhand, would have a valuable asset they could build around as well as an expiring contract.

Andrei "I have the best wife in the world" Kirilenko for Eddy "I love donuts" Curry and Anthony "untapped potential" Randolph.———> Why would the Jazz do this? or the knicks for that matter? I think even AK47’s wife would have to veto this trade way to many hoes in NYC for that russian to bang.

Monta "I am a liar" Ellis and Vlad "Am I a SF or PF?" Radmanovic for Vince "I am riding D.Howards  coat tails" Carter.———> unfortunatly, VC will end his career in Orlando, he is just traying to ride Howard as long as he can.

Quinton "I look like I stole a bike from a little kid" Ross for Chuck "fat boy" Hayes.——>D–FENCE. I like it.

Mike "I miss my FU days" Miller and Udonis "why is my first name Udonis" Haslem.—->they are on the same team now….i dont get it.

Elton "no knees" Brand, Jrue "I was born in the 90’s" Holiday, and Evan "My older brother is the monster from the goonies" Turner for Al "If my head were any pointer I’d be a cone head" Horford, Josh "I will dunk on yo grandmother" Smith, and Maurice "my head is shiny" Evans.——-> Bad trade for the Hawks, they are giving up way to many pieces….for what potential? Hawks could make the finals if they put together a complete post season.

Andrew "Wish I had gone to UCONN" Bynum, Ron" I will beat up your grandmother" Artest, and Sasha "Why is my name Sasha?" Vujacic for Shawn "I have the ugliest jumpshot in the world" Marion, Jason "I will be basketballs Brett Favre" Kidd, and Caron "UCONN" Butler.——-> The Mavs and Lakers are both contenders they dont need this trade to put them over the edge.

Gilbert "Grizzlie adams aint got shit on my beard" Arenas and John "Wonder" Wall for Blake "Jerry curl" Griffin and Baron "Why is my first name Baron" Davis.——–> Wizards would create a logjam at the 4, and will not give away a NBA franchise player for aging B-diddy. who would run the piont? bring back MJ???

First of all these are not official, you got me with that, second these trades dont make sense, all of these teams either are contenders or have finally got franchise players for them to build around, why move them? third of all, contracts might work but this is like playing NBA2k10, piontless trades for no reason. step up your game man.

Didn’t you read my prior explanation for the Knicks-Jazz trade. The Jazz would be under the cap if they can get rid of Eddy Curry’s contract before the trade deadline. Also, Randolph has tons of potential and is still on his rookie deal, meaning they will have the money to still sign a max contract once Curry’s deal ends while still having a valuable player like Randolph who could start at the 3.

I like the Arenas-Wall deal for Griffin-Davis. Both Griffin and Wall are franchise players and essentially Washington would get rid of Arenas’ horrible contract. Davis would run the point. And don’t forget Hinrich too. The Wizards could then try to trade Davis back to the Warriors (he played better and was happier there) for Ellis.

I think the 76ers-Hawks team is good for the 76ers because they would get rid of Brand’s horrible contract. Sadly, they’d be giving up several potential franchise players but it’s worth the price.

Okay, I see your point about the other trades. The Lakers don’t need to shake things up. Neither do the Mavs. Vince Carter would throw a fit if he were traded to the Warriors.

None of these make sense.  Randolph will probably put up the same numer AK will put up in Utah this year.

Who sits at home thinking of a Quinton Ross and Chuck Hayes trade?

And Mike Miller and Haslem play on the same team?  Do you mean like…..WTF do you mean?

I am starting to think we need to have different areas of this website that separate people by age. Then once you get somewhere around 18, it’s 18 and up or something. You could have some middle school and pre-school divisions so I don’t see as much of this crap. Then when you see older people put up stuff like this, they can get demoted to the "Special Ed. Grownup Division"….Younger kids could get demoted to "Really Special Kidz Corner."

The thing that is funny is that you would think the NBA trade machine is now part of the problem because it gives these fools a tool, but it’s not. This has been happening on here for some time. Most people don’t even use it. They just decide that their favorite team has to take the two best players and guy with the best potential on their team for some has been, an overpaid player and an expiring deal.

Top teams won’t trade their rosters wholesale and although AK47 would be a great fit for the Knicks, Utah are under luxury tax now so don’t need to shed salaries. The only team that will pay luxury tax and may want to reduce their bill next year may be Denver so I’d suggest that Curry for K-Mart might be a decent deal if Donnie Walsh cannot get better value for Curry’s expiring deal or Denver trade away Melo and not to the Knicks.

I believe that the Knicks are still under cap so can take back more salary and thus get a larger expiring deal and maybe Denver send a sweetner. K-Mart if he could get fit could give a young Knicks team valuable experience and they may look to resign him next summer. He can provide frontcourt depth alongside STAT as a starter or from the bench and he could maybe discover a bit of his old scoring ability under Coach D’Antoni.

If Melo goes and K-Mart was still struggling then Denver would love to save $!0 million including the luxury tax and would surely look to pay up Curry.
