CodySLCParticipantI dont wanna be that guy but i really like this signing for Utah. Earl Watson is a proven quality back up point guard. And we still have Price if their happens to be any injurys. I guessing this means Gaines wont be on the roster next year? Either way Utah got a little deeper and a little more experienced with Elson and Watson. If key players like Miles and A.K. play well next year i dont see why they couldnt make a deep run in the playoffs this year.

TheWizardParticipantEarl Watson is a great 3 point shooter and is also a pretty good passer. I like how Ronnie Price will change the tempo when he enters the game with his freaky athleticicm and speed.

llperezearls not a great 3 point shooter. Hes decent enough that you cant leave him alone but thats still more of a weakness then a strength. Very solid pickup though and i was a little surprised that he lasted for ever on the free agant market. Everywhere he goes he ends playing and contributing a little more then he was expected to.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI also like think it is an underrated fantasy move. I love Watson’s game and I believe he will give the Jazz more of an edge than Ronnie Price will because he could remind the Jazz of when Derek Fisher was on the team. He and Bell could very well be the main reason the Jazz make it to the Western Conference Finals this season. I know that’s a little too much to expect but its possible. The only challenge they have other than the Lakers are the Blazers, the Mavs, and the Thunder. With so many seasoned veterans this year (Watson, Bell, and Elson) they could pose a real challenge to all 3 of the these teams. They might even provide a tough test for the Lakers. (Although I still expect the Lakers to beat them and probably sweep them in the series this season)
