Canada basketball stand up! We have a record number of Canadians playing division one basketball.

On the other hand, why are fans in Denver booing Melo? I swear he said he would stay in Denver and focus on this season and worry about it later unlike who other players who give up mid-season. I think this is just adding gas to the flame, hopefully it doesn’t get out of control where Melo actually demands a trade.

OhCanada-ParticipantThat list they displayed is just scratching the surface… Certain teams are currently attempting to move ahead in terms of recruiting and make an impact by targetting Canadian players. Stanford, Gonzaga, Texas and UNLV are all loading up on top tier Canadian Prospects looking for big-time success.

scoutguruParticipantYea I was thinking bout all them canadians making their way to the D1 ranks. This led me to think about how their national team would be when all these kids get older. Could be a team with a lot of talent if those guys mature and live up to their potential. Lookout for them in the years to come in international play…

Toronto16ParticipantI just wonder why none of these guys were considered for the national team that went to Turkey. I’m sure they would have done much better.

stanford hoopsAlot of them were considered and worked out wit the team but weren’t good enough. Don’t get it twisted. Even though they play d1 basketball and the national team didn’t do that well, it doesn’t mean they are ready for fiba ball yet. The national team players still out play these guys in practices and open gym. Those young guys are the future but they aren’t ready for the here and now
