valentineThe Timberwolves wrapped up their five-day training camp with a scrimmage Wednesday night that was open to the public. Michael Beasley showed that he’s the most athletic of the Timberwolves, and probably will be the team’s leading scorer. Rookie Wesley Johnson and free agent Luke Ridnour both showed smooth strokes from the perimeter, and Darko Milicic may be able to offer some post offense and defense that’s been lacking here for a long time. Webster had some success on his perimeter shots, and he went to the basket hard a couple of times, getting to the free-throw line and converting those points. He asked the coaches a lot of questions, still unsure where he and his teammates are supposed to be on the floor. "He’s struggling to learn the way we play," coach Kurt Rambis said.

BasketBalAllanParticipantIt will be interesting to see the Wolves dynamic this coming season, I can see them having some very good games, but then again, I can see them having terrible games as well. I think that Darko will be slightly better than most give him credit for, and Beasley will finally get the chance to be the go to guy on offense, since he seems incapable of passing the ball when there is even a slight chance he could shoot it. But they might turn in a slightly better season than most expect, which could force a lot of people to eat their words, myself included.

sheltwon3ParticipantEven if they are pretty good. They are young and lack experience and as of yet chemistry. Most good teams are stacked

NorthernLights666Participanthaving some terrible games as well, god knows they have the two biggest thugs in the NBA on their team, did you see Cousins sagging his pants at the Combine? Like dude, you’re going to a job interview, pull up your shit, fucking scrub. Everytime I talk to my boy who’s a scout with the Wolves I like Cousins less and less, he’s going to bust out with the Kings and succeed with his second team, time to grow up young fella!

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThe Wolves are a terrible team. I doubt they win 20 games.
Micheal Beasley will have a good season but losing Jefferson was a huge blow.

boffacheeriosParticipantya, fuck the wolves. they won’t go anywhere until they dump that scrub Kahn. And as far as cousins goes northernlights, yes he is immature. congratualations for pointing out that a 19 year old has maturity issues, do you want a medal?

Mr. 19134ParticipantCalling Cousins a thug because his pants were saggin is pretty extreme dude. You wanna see a thug listen to Darko and Pekovic talk. Serbians are effin nuts. Darko don’t care bout anything that guys a loose cannon, and Pekovic dude is about as intimidating as they come.

Mr. 19134ParticipantMr. Knicks I didn’t understood why they felt it was absolutely necessary to trade Jefferson. It didn’t make much sense to me. And if they knew they were gonna trade him they should of got Cousins.
But Beasley will alleviate all those fears boy will he ever. I thinking around 21 and 7 for the B-Easter this year. That;s the right The B-Easter. Cuz everybody is about to witness a basketball resurrection.

You seriously have no idea how hard I laughed at that statement. One of the more ignorant things I’ve ever read on this site hahaha

NorthernLights666ParticipantGo to a job interview talking ghetto and sagging your pants, I’ll bet you get the job. I’d imagine your a college kid, have you ever even had a job? How do you think the public perceives you looking like that? Like your a thug, I may not be as educated as you in how the hood works, but out here in the real world you look like a thug looking like that. I suppose his Agent’s name is Happy, how much sound advice can you get from a guy named Happy? What a fool. I like basketball, but I can’t stand anybody that acts hood, you will get nowhere in this world with that attitude except in the welfare line. Your comments are so overrated on this site it’s digusting. Time to grow up young fella.

NorthernLights666ParticipantMore than maturity issues, my boy with the Wolves said he’s a temper tantrum away from hurting someone, ala Mike Tyson raping that chick.

stanford hoopsYou make no sense
First of all this is the NBA/sports not real world job interview. You think you would go to a job interview in a basketball uniform? Chew gum? Yell out loud? Curse? No. So stop trying compare sports to a regular job because they are two different things. During the workouts John wall cursed, so did vasquez. Does that mean they are hood or thugs? Being agressive and having a temper in a sport that is emotional and physical does not make u a thug. I’m guessing you are from upper class because you obviously don’t know what a real thug is
