    i just read this story…

    http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69351/20100930/kirilenko_excited_to_mentor_hayward/

the question is… if you were an nba rookie, how nervous would you be about playing agains players like lebron and carmelo, and would you let the big names affect your game?

If i were a rookie and i was guarding a big time player,I would use it to my advantage! Lets say i was guarding Lebron James, first time he goes to the free throw line im gonna wisper in his ear "Im gonna pound your mother like shes never been pounded before if you even dare try to score on me tonight".Everytime down the court he’s gonna practically give me the ball!

It’s well known that Lebrons mom loves young guys, and as gifted as he is as a basketball player this is the one advantage i have over him…Its almost like Lebron James kryptonite!

Here i am,some fresh hot 19 year old rookie! My chest hair is rippling out of my jersey,i got this sweet ass panther tattoo on my shoulder.Im looking into the stands and giving mama Lebron the sex eye!

Id lead my team to victory that night!

Thoroughly disturbing, thoroughly ridiculous, thoroughly stupid. He would have all the motivation to beat the hell out of you, and believe me, he would be waiting for you in the parking lot after the game. You would have to be a big, dumb mother lover to say something like that. Unless you are bigger than 6’8/270, and even if you were, I am pretty sure LeBron could more than likely kick the living $hit out of you. But, if he were to restrain himself from doing so, than he would just own you. Plus, you would more than likely be rejected by Gloria James seeing as what you said to him earlier, which would not be good for your ego. So, in other words, you would be giving yourself a full on death sentence. More than likely though, LeBron would laugh at you for using such a weak excuse for trying to stop him and not being a man and doing it yourself. In essence, you would be purely owned by your own words. Weak dude, just gross, and weak.

Lebron would not beat you up if you said something like that. He wouldnt have to ( nor would he ever do something so juvenile but whatever). He’d tell his teammates what you said, they would then tell their friends around the league and so on and so on, until you had zero respect from the rest of the players in the league. Opposing teams would start to circle their calendars for when they get to play "the rookie dumb enough to try and talk shit about the best player in the league". You’d get lit up all year for not showing the proper respect to a veteran, a league MVP veteran at that.

I always liked playing defense against the best player on the other team, I’d be more worried about taking it to the hoop against a guy like D-Howard and have him throw my shot into the 3rd row.
