goneParticipantTake 2inches off everyone
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 3:50pm #407576

The8thDeadlySinParticipantThats not even what I am talking about.. Ariza looks taller than West and Okafor looks a good 3 inches taller than Ariza…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 3:53pm #407578

gregoden08ParticipantYeah he is probabably like 6,7ish…He always looks short next to opposing pf’s. Ariza seems to be like an inch taller. Okafor is a legit 6,10 for sure.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 3:57pm #407581

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantAriza and West both look 6-8
Okafor look 6-10, 6-11
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:01pm #407585

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIsnt it crazy that if Okafor was listed at 6’11, nobody would say that he is undersized??
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:03pm #407586

marcusfizer21ParticipantI remember Mark Blount and Jerome James listed as 7’0 and 7’1 respectively… I don’t know if you’re aware but they don’t look like 7 footers to me… They both look like 6’10…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:15pm #407592
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantremember when they used to say that The Big Show was 7’4…yeah right 7’4…when he fought Shaq he was the same size pretty much…The NBA is like that too…say CP3 is 6’0 when he’s really 5’10…I remember meeting Iverson when I was 16 and only 5’11 and I was taller than him!! I met 50 Cent too and was soo much taller than him too…I’m only 6’1 and a half but I dwarfed him like I was in the NBA…FYI…Is Ariza on the Hornets now???
Is that who they got for Collison…I know Lee is on the Rockets…Murphy went to NJ and Posey went to the Pacers…but did the Hornets get Ariza…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:23pm #407597
goneParticipantScarecrown you cant FYI a question that defies logic but yea they got Ariza and
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:25pm #407601

sheltwon3ParticipantShaq is 7’1 without shoes so he is probably 7’2" and some change with shoes. I think Ariza could have grown and is not using his new height and also West i believe is a least 6’8" and change and Okafor is 6’10 and some change but another thing is they may not all be standing up straight
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:27pm #407602

TooNice4TVParticipantT-mac is not 6’8, KG is not 6’11.
T-mac – 6’10.
KG – 7’1
I have it on a KICKS magazine interview where they both said their real height with Tim Duncan.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:28pm #407603

sc0rebuckets11ParticipantEveryone’s height seems close, not exaggerated.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:29pm #407604

IndianaBasketballParticipantIs T-Mac really four inches taller than Kobe, who’s 6′ 6"?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:33pm #407607

HaleParticipantJust googled them next to eachother and it doesn’t look to be 4 inches.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:35pm #407612

marcusfizer21Participantlol… yeah… I remember WWE… It’s not about height there too… It also includes the weights… LOL… I remember Kurt Angle being listed as 6’0 when he’s actually 5’10… I remember Steve Austin billed weight as 257 when he’s actually 220 or something… EVEN Kane! They said he’s a 7 footer but in truth he’s actually 6’7 and doesn’t really weight 300 lbs… The over-exaggeration has always been part in wrestling and sometimes in basketball…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:39pm #407614
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThat was the best/worst gimmick ever…sort of like DNyce’s forum career
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 4:43pm #407616

sheltwon3ParticipantSome players are taller than their heights say. KG came in at 6’11 out of high school and yet somehow he has not grown. Same thing with T Mac. He was 6’8" out of high school. It is possibly they stopped growing but a lot of people ahve told me that KG is at least 7 feet but did not want to be call that because he did not want to be seen as a Center because early on they had his as a small forward.T Mac may not want his height listed because he wants to play some time at two guard when he has a small forwards height.
I hear that KD is close to 7 foot and when I see 6’9" next to him i laugh because he was measure at over 6’9" in socks. With shoes if he has not growned he would be a shade lower than 6’11

The8thDeadlySinParticipantDid anyone watch the HORSE contest this past year?? I mean Caspi is listed at like 6’9 and Durant 6’9.. Durant was way taller than Caspi.. I wish that someone would make people be measured every year and have it offical..
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:09pm #407628
NarcParticipantThey have been classically over heigting players in the NBA for years. I’m 6’5.5 inches tall and I have met Nate Robinson when he was a member of the Knicks in person, anyone who believes that he’s really 5’9 is smoking. Same with the 6′ Allen Iverson, same with guys like the 6’9 Carlos Boozer, David West, etc. And my favorite, same with the 6’8 Ben Wallace.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:14pm #407631
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI think thet listed him at 6’6 or 6’8…That’s what i hate about college kids…Like is Perry Jones really 6’11 or is he 6’9 and a half and they just want us to see him listed at 6’11 and say " boy, that kid has the size to play right now"
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:19pm #407633
NarcParticipantThe highest I ever seen Barkely listed at was 6’6…and I knew from televison alone that it was BS lol.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:24pm #407635

NYCrealdealParticipantis overrated really wat is the difference of an inch
wen i play an inch doesnt really do anything some one please explain me how one inch makes a difference in size
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:27pm #407636
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantBecause you and your one inch Peter would be a lot more attractive with a 2 inch Peter…Scooby Doo!!!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:31pm #407638

Im Your FatherParticipantNone of them are lying about their heights
Per combine results, height in shoes:
Paul: 6’1
Okafor: 6’10
Thornton: 6’3.75
West: 6’9.25
Ariza 6’8.25
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:46pm #407643
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantthey all lie…CP3 aint as tall as me…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:47pm #407644
cap777ParticipantI met Chris Douglas-Roberts and was at least an inch or two taller than him. I’m no more than 6’5 barefoot.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 5:53pm #407650
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantNo but they do lie…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 6:19pm #407662

0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 6:35pm #407664

TooNice4TVParticipantGarnett is taller than Tim duncan. I’m going to find the photo and show you all. And t-mac is 6/10 lol. I’m going to find the article or scan it on my scanner lol
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/29/2010 - 6:39pm #407666

TooNice4TVParticipantOkay, I’m too lazy to find it in my house LOL.
But for those of you who have this magazine and read their interview, you’ll read them saying it and agreeing with themselves.

NYK2010ParticipantYour way off on Jerome James he looks to be over 7 feet actually he definately isn’t 6’10"
He used to tower over Eddy Curry who’s around 6’10" or 6’11".
0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/30/2010 - 8:53am #407814

PureshooterParticipantYeah, I’m right at 6’4" and I looked Barkley right in the eye. It really just makes what he was able to accomplish all that more incredible.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/30/2010 - 9:15am #407820

M-DYMESParticipantHeight don’t matter when you still get boxed out by Earl Boykins 😉
0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/30/2010 - 2:23pm #407923

McDunkinIm not sure if i remember this correctly, but didnt lying(maybe) about his height kind of help Kris Humphries? Some draftsite(cough draftexpress cough) said after even, he and his father thought and swore he was 6’7or 6’8 he ended up being closer to 6’10
0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/30/2010 - 2:24pm #407924

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantT-mac – 6’10.
KG – 7’1
No there not. I seen KG stand next to Bynum when I went to a game..Garnett was shorter.
T-Mac, I actually met. He’s not 6-10. He’s more 6-8
0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/30/2010 - 6:15pm #407982
NarcParticipantSince when did someone list T-Mac at 6’10…he’s always been listed ay 6’8. The highest I ever seen KG listed at was 7’0
0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/30/2010 - 6:29pm #407985

TooNice4TVParticipanthe said he’s 6’10, but he wanted to be 6’8 so he wouldn’t have to play the 3/4 spot lol. i’m going to find the article!
