As teams fall over themselves trying to dance with the Nuggets, Carmelo Anthony waits. Meanwhile, the uncertainty that’s surrounding teams involved in the talks is starting to take a predictable toll on egos and emotions at training camps. Even if a deal for Anthony never materializes, New Jersey coach Avery Johnson has serious repairs to make with Nets point guard Devin Harris, a league source told Yahoo! Sports on Monday. Harris had been a huge advocate for Johnson with former Nets officials by endorsing the hiring of Johnson over the summer, and a source says Harris is feeling "a little put off" that the coach is so quickly looking to send him out of New Jersey as part of a trade for Anthony.

Harris needs to get over it. He hasn’t exactly tore it up in New Jersey. He’s been injury proned and inconsistent. The NBA is a business and he knows that.

With that being said, everything will be put behind them once the season starts.

Do you have a right to be upset a year after your team wins 12 games?

When Harris is healthy he’s a top flight scoring Pg/Sg…I remeber seeing Harris tear it up after his trade to the Nets…He got injured and had a subpar year…. After all that the Team started dreaming about Cp3 and Melo by any means necessary…Harris and Favors and anyone else not named Lopez would have been fair game if it get them one or the Other…Harris sees he’s "Expendable" and doesn’t like being on such shaky ground…He and Avery split before and they almost made it 2 for 2…To Me Harris and Favors are key to NJ futures as a real home grown contender…They are reaching a "Star" when they should be developing their home grown stars in Lopez,Favors and Williams…Harris is an All Star Level scorer at the PG or SG spot…That makes For good to Great potential starters in your line up…Why put them in that position…why do it to yourselves??? Why make a hasty move when the Team has the Cap and you can see how the year plays out…

If the Nets have a suprise playoff Run sparked By a healthy Harris,Focused Terrence Williams, semi-dominate Brooke Lopez and Rookie of the Year run from Favors wouldn’t the Nets look like a good team on the rise….

AK has matured quite a bit over the years. He was talking last year or the year before about wanting to stay in Utah after his contract is up. I think just like Rudy there were some frustrations with him. He was/is the best player from his country, he had an all star year when he was playing his true position. I think reality has set in. Jerry Sloan is going to do things his way, AK has been slowed by injuries and AK is going to be their small forward because they have too much talent at the 4.

As far as Harris goes, I would be happy to be out of that situation, especially if you can get put on a good team with better players. I think the Nets will trade him no matter what. I’m sure he wants to be around for the turnaround, but I think Johnsons style really doesn’t fit him and who knows if they ultimately give up way too much for Melo or some other guy that they get stuck in rebuilding mode because they won’t have many assets left from what is being proposed.
