The 76’ers have given veteran 6’2 guard Chris Quinn and invite to training camp..Quinn has played almost 200 games with the Heat & Nets..He have career averages of 5.2 points and 2 assists..With the addition of Quinn the 76’ers now have 17 players on their roster 14 have guaranteed contracts…..In all his years of coaching..Collins is known to load his roster with outstanding outside shooters..He runs plays for his star players, to start the offense..And when they don’t have a shot they kick it out to 1 of the shooters…..The only outstanding outside shooters on the team are Meeks & Kapono ..Center Hawes is a decent outside shooter for a big man…

Good Collins info…We got rid of Dalembert, Green, and Smith and brought in Hawes, Nocioni, Brackins, and Songaila all those guys are outside shooting big men except for Nocioni who isn’t a big but is a decent outside shooter.  Turner said Collins told him they’ll be a slashing team and Collins got a love affair with Iggy.  From the sounds of it seems like Holiday, Turner, Iggy, and Williams will be doing a lot of driving to the lane where they will either finish or kick it out to one of the bigs roaming near the perimeter.  Kinda sounds like the same offense John Caliprari runs.

LoL..Collins did the same thing in Chicago with Jordan,In Detroit with Grant Hill and in Washington..He’ll run plays for his star to drive the lane…And surround them with outside shooters…

you’ll think other teams would’ve figured that out by now..

but the triangle ofense have been use for years and nobody has been out to figure it out..even players on the team running the offense have a hard time playing it right….
