Neither the Heat nor the Magic really have any history besides Shaq, so I think both teams will need a little more playoff battles to over run the Lakers and Celtics. Also if the Thunder keep improving I think Lakers Thunder could be very interesting.

its definitely Boston LA. The comments from Doc saying the Lakers still havent beat the Celtics starting 5 are out there. Ron Artest responded, via twitter, and it is something to be watched. It is true in a sense, the 2008 Celtics still havent truly defended their title. Im no Celtic fan by the way.the New Miami hasnt even played a single game for them to automatically be in a rivary.. A “rivalry” consists of past heated games, series, with the players involved, no?

    so bos/la

doc rivers is dumb for making those comments. He loses perkins for 1 game but conveniatnly doesnt mention that the lakers were missing 2 starters for the entire series in 2008 finals. Its all good though, that kind of stuff just makes the games funner to watch as a fan. Doc needs to worry more about miami then the lakers first.

From 00-04, the Kings and Lakers had in my opinion the biggest rivalry in the NBA. As a high school student at the time, I remember going to Arco Arena and having everybody standing up basically the whole game because it was so intense. My love for Kings basketball was definitely at its peak then…

Now I still root for the Kings, but lately during the season I have been rooting for them to lose so they may get a better chance at the lottery. Got us Reke and Boogey. You know you are a diehard fan when you can root for the other team in hopes it will make your team better in the long run. Lolz
