who do u guys think is the next up and comin west team i know okc is under the radar but i like portland n lac the reason i said portland is because if greg oden can live up to his potentila and they get a wing guy lets say iggy to go with him and roy they could have a deadly 1 2 punch i know portland hasnt won any chips they still always had a good franchise and sucsecful season if they can stay healthy and productive they can knock on the door 4 the finals and the clips have blake griffin someone who was 4got bout but n two years he has a shot at bein the best 4 in the game they usually develop early and he can run the floor with grodan and if the rook they just grabbed with the eith pick can turn into an athleic defesive three they might can challenge miami all according to how they improve

I think the lakers have a good 2-3 years but that hugely depends on Andrew Bynums progression as a player and his health. I honestly think the west will take a few steps back after the lakers dynasty breaks up, OKC is young and talented and it will really depend on how there young players progress, if westbrook and harden can keep on developing especially, i personally think Harden will be a huge factor if he can be like a jamal crawford off the bench that would be amazing. But i still think there one big man away from contending maybe Cole Aldrich can fill that hole but i have never been a big fan. But i really like portland too with what they have on the roster right now, all i think they need is Oden to become what everyone thought hed be (a huge IF i know) and if bayless can be the point guard of the future i could see them contending a couple years down the road, with Roy and Aldridge batum they have a soloid core. But if Cris paul leaves to the east and so does Carmelo, it might be a while before we see a west team that can compete with miami or the magic.

i actually also like the clips for the upcoming years.. they’ve got griffin who has huge potential, eric gordon who is having an excellent tournament, and also have potential at every other position-Pg-bledsoe, SF-aminu, C-D.jordan. they also have all star PG and C in b-diddy and chris kaman.

Portland was the young up and coming team before okc. People seem to forge that. They are still pretty young and better then okc

I wanna say the clippers but ……well they are the clippers and they have been up and coming for about ten years now
I like my lakers because of bynum, caracter, ebanks. And a younger star/super star we will get in the future

They have a young Core of Curry,Lee,Beidrins and Udoh…Ellis can and should be traded for a young 2 guard or Sf…They will have a top 5 pick next year and can get the Sf for the future by drafting Harrison Barnes or Perry Jones…Monte Ellis for a true 2 would be my plan A this year at or before the deadline…
Then with a young Core of…

    PG-Steph Curry(Nash 2.0???)
SG-???OJ Mayo(They could open up talk with the Grizzles again and pull the trigger on this Deal)
SF-Barnes or P.Jones( High pick will get them one or the other)
    PF-D.Lee(Mr.Double Double)
    C-A.Biedrins(Young Shot Blocking 10 and 10 Center)
    Udoh(3rd Big Man-Versatile Defender)

…they can pick up a few vets or young pieces to fill holes in the lineup and allow this young team to run and gun …

The Thunder,Kings,Clippers,Grizzles and Hornets get enough love out West…Some body might as well big up the Warriors….Just Trade Ellis….

Memphis The thing is: Zach Randolph. If they can keep him or trade him and get value they can continue the rebuild. Gasol, Conley, Mayo and Gay are all good young guys and Vasquez and Henry could be nice bench players for there team down the line.

Golden State is a young team? Curry and Monta is the only real young guns on that team. I think they’re a potential playoff team if everyone is healthy and they could find another wing.

OKC is good but they need a legit power forward to get into the place where Portland is. Durant-Westbrook and Green are great but I would have love them going for a D.Favors of D.Cousins

Portland is blah to me. I like them, don’t love them. I always though they had overrated talent to me. I like Roy, he has the assassin quality but I have doubts he can lead a team to a title as a #1 guy. Aldridge looks to about hit his peak 19-9. Batum is gonna be a lockdown defender. The rest of the guys are questionable

The Clippers could be great this season if there all healthy. Time will tell. History says no. The thing is can they improve all together. Griffin should be a #4 guy who posts 13-8 in his rook season. I can see Gordon having a great season thanks to this FIBA play recently. Davis had a nice season.

Mayo might be given the PG position after next season if Conley doesn’t get it together.

I like gordan but I think some are going a lol overboard because of his fiba play. His game is built for fiba because of the zones and most guards aren’t as string or athletic as he is. He should have a good season but he will still have issues in the NBA that he doesn’t in fiba. I’m sure his fiba play will help his confidence though
