HaleParticipantFOOTBALL NEWS
Seattle is gonna trade or cut TJ-Housh so they can start Mike Williams. First of all, FUCK yes! He has been my favorite player since his USC days. Second, this may be the first case of someone having terrible work ethic and then having it change to a good one. 80 rec 1,000 yards 10 T.D.s, I’m going out on a limb here.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantGood move but I think this might set up Seattle to get Vincent Jackson from SD now.
Williams was a stud at USC. I think if he’s the 1st or 2nd WR, I would project 45-65 grabs, 800-950 yards and like 7 scores. Golden Tate should play well too.

HaleParticipantPersonally I don’t know if they go get Jackson but a Housh-Jackson swap would work out nice for both teams. Mike was incredible at USC, can’t wait to see him this year. Getting my jersey now! 6’5 240 beast.

gregoden08ParticipantDidn’t see this coming. I agree Knick, I see Tate having a solid rookie year as well. 900-1000 yards seems reasonable. Let’s not forget, Matt is finally healthy (been injured the last 2 years) so a big year out of Mike seems fair.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYea. Don’t forget they have Forsett and Jones in the backfield.
Also, Leon Washington will take some grabs too.

HaleParticipantI think they will have to rely on their passing game this year. Jones isn’t very good, Forsett is solid but not a guy who can have a team run through him. Leon Washington is a great situational back. With Tate, Branch, Williams I think they will throw more this year, even if it gets Hasselback killed (hope not). Plus their division sucks, Mike should be a be impact player this year for sure. Love the story this makes.

HaleParticipantMan I can’t find a USC jersey of him, Seattle gonna have to do for now. Things have obviously changed with him having no heart, and yeah he is slow but he is still a freaking giant and beast!

WizardofOzParticipantMike Williams will not have that good of a season. This guy has been one of the biggest bust in NFL history. This guy had terrible work ethic and became so overweight.
During the offseason, he was watching a show documenting the top 10 biggest bust in NFL, and he was hoping that he wouldn’t be one of them, and he wasn’t. He said that motivated him to become a better football player. I’m hoping this guy can ressurect his career with his former college coach, but he will no get 80 rec 1,000 yards 10 T.D.s. This guy hasn’t played football since 2007. C’mon Son.

WizardofOzParticipantI hope the Redskins get Vincent Jackson. They certainly have the pieces to trade for him and they need some help with their weak receiving core. Donovan McNabb needs some help! His receiver is clearly not as good as the one he had in Philadelphia.

HaleParticipantC’mon son? Yeah I know exactly why he is working hard now. I said I was going out on a limb. Dude has beast talent, just never put in the effort. We’ll see. Can’t be that bad if they are getting rid of a guy who got 79 grabs last year and over a 100 a few times too jsut so he can play can he? C’mon son.

White ChocolateParticipantT.J. Houshmandzadeh has $7 million in his back pocket courtesy of his guaranteed salary from the Seattle Seahawks.
He’s probably not going to be sitting out for too long, though. Houshmandzadeh has not returned messages since being released by the Seahawks and becoming an unrestricted free agent. His decision on where to play next season appears to be narrowing down to either Oakland or Washington, according to a source who had spoken with him.
Houshmandzadeh, 32, led Seattle in receptions last season, but was released by Seattle on Saturday. His 2010 salary of $7 million is guaranteed, but there is certainly an offset clause, which would mean that Seattle is responsible only for the difference of the $7 million total and whatever he would earn from another team in 2010. Most expect him to sign for the veteran minimum in 2010 with another team.
I hope that he ges to Oakland he would be such a good fit there and he could reunite with Hue Jackson who helped him develope into a good wide receiver.
