Charlie SheenParticipantCarmelo Anthony and JR Smith are on their way out of Denver and may still be together. I feel the best team they could end up on is the Chicago Bulls. heres why
1. They are an established team with tradable assets,Deng, Johnson, Gibson and 2 future 1st and a 2nd
2. They have legit defenders, Brewer, Watson and Noah plus Thomas isnt half bad at the basket.
3. They have a defensive minded head coach who draws up great schemes and could easily hide JR and CA defensive liabilities.
4. They’d be a top 3 team out East with the addition of themStarting 5
Noah- Defense
Boozer- Offense
Anthony- Offense
Brewer- Defense/Athleticism
Rose- top 3 PG in the leagueBench
Guards
Watson- great back up PG
Smith- instant offense
Korver- knock down shooter and aggresive defender
Bigs
Asik- solid big inside
Thomas- good defender and rebounderThibedou unproven head coach but with that team he could implement his defensive scheme they have better athleticsm than Boston so if they buy in then they’d be a great defensive team and the offense will play itself out on the break and in the half court Rose and Boozer can go pick and roll with Korver and JR spottin up or they can ISO CA cause no one can stop him 1 on 1
So CA and JR should be traded to Chicago ‘Melo should say Bulls or nothin because no team is gonna rent him and give uo young prospects.
IMO that Bulls team would trump Miami especially since they could add a MLE player every year

ChewyParticipantbut I have to say that the Bulls owned JR Smith’s rights at one point and was very quick to trade him. The organization was not a fan of his and the Bulls Front Office is kinda sensitive to where if they feel burned by a player then they won’t give him a 2nd chance. However, with that being said if this ever happens I would go crazy! I easily could watch that team 82 times in one year.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThe Bulls would have gotten Melo but Deng was a 11million dollar, 3rd option.
