You make some valid points, but you can go both ways with that. KD doesn’t make his team mates worse, plays in the flow of the offense, and is a more natural scorer. Also from the looks of it he has stepped up big time on defense. Both are great players, and when it’s all said in done I think they both will be in discussion for player of the decade.

I would take Durant over LeBron because I am a strong believer in pure scorers winning championships, and that’s exactly what Durant is. He is wayy more competitive than Bron, is younger, and I believe that he most likely has a better work ethic (debatable but it’s my opinion). At the end of the day, give me KD over LeBron.

I like Durant a lot more than LeBron, but… LeBron has HUGE advantages over him due to his body, athleticism, ball handling and ability to create for his teammates.

I really hate LeBron, I mean i really do, and people may want to trash him now since I guess he took the cowards way out by joining with the heat, but he is still hands down the best player in the league, and to be honest, I dont think its that close, I shouldnt say that, him and Kobe are very close, I’d still take LeBron but thats IMO, but Kobe is on the decline while lebron is still very much in his prime, maybe hasnt reached it yet, so im not taking anything away from Durant, hes a great player and will be one of the best for the next 10 or so years, but to me LeBron is on another level. And will continue to be so, btw, I dont think its a matter of if but when, LeBron will average a triple double for the year, just throwing that out there.

LeBron is the BEST all around basketball player in the planet. He does everything. And no i am not a LeBron lover but you cant deny how great of a passer he is, his elite athleticism, his defensive ability, and his knack for scoring.

I think LeBron and Durant are both very similar in the fact that they entered the NBA with an immense talent level. Although I actually believe that Durant is a little more polished in some areas of the game I have to say LeBron’s playmaking ability is what puts him in the front as the better player. I have never seen someone his size with the court vision and handling that LeBron possesses.

i understand that lebron is alot stronger and everything but durant is taller. he is almost seven feet tall and that helps durant. now lebron is a much better passer but durant is very good at alot of things. ive been watching him play on team usa and kd is a very good passer. will he ever avg as many assists as lebron? no, but i dont see any reason he cant avg 4 or 5 a game when his team matures and he can pass it off and guys will knock down thw shots. as of right now lebron is better but lebron has that freakish strength and athleticism that not many have, which i think has made him able to get better numbers sooner in his career. while durant had to work on his game because he couldnt just bully people to the rim. thats what makes durant so exciting because we have seen his game grow so much in a few years while lebron is who he is. i dont know if im making much sense but what im teying to say is durant could be very close to as good as lebron and maybe even better. and that i could see durant getting 25ppg, 10rpg, and 5apg in one of his best years. and he can be a very good defender which i think he will because i think he has that kind of heart that kobe has(maybe not as much but more than lebron)

How has Durant improved so much more drastically than Lebron? Lebron’s defense has gotten significantly better, his jumpshot has improved and he has performed in the clutch more than Durant. I know everyone loves KD because of his personality and everything but Lebron has not reached near his peak potential, he can still add a post game and his jump shot has improved every season
