OhCanada-ParticipantWho will be obvious starters and who will be obvious bench players. I have a chance of having alot of good players come off the bench. If Randolph starts at SF and Galinari comes off the bench Galo could be a 6th man of the year candidate. If Randolph comes off the bench and Galo starts Randolpg could be. If they both start and Chandler comes off the bench he could be a 6th man candidate. As of right now this looks like the plan
Felton
Azubuike
Galinari
Stoudemire
TuriafRandolph
Chandler
etc.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/30/2010 - 8:57am #390175

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantAzu will miss some training camp so I doubt he starts the season. I’m going
Felton-Chandler-Gallo-Amar’e-Turiaf
Randolph-Douglas-Mason (Azu will rotate with him when ready)

McWinningParticipantAm i the only person who thinks WAlker should start? hes a good shooter, and imo should be their starting shooting guard, he played well last year when given the chance.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWhat about this.. I dont think it will because it defies D’Antoni basketball. This team would be super tall and would need to play lots of zone defense..
PG: Felton
F: Gallo
F: Randolph
F: Chandler
C: AmareI mean that looks sick because Chandler can guard 2 guards and Gallo can shoot like crazy.

primetimeParticipantAs a warriors fan, i really hate that they traded away Anthony Randolph. This is probably Don Nelson’s last year as a coach and I really feel like he’s the reason why Randolph has never got a chance to show his potential. The NY Knicks have a very young and upcoming player in Randolph. No doubt D’Antoni will bring out his capabilities.

bkballerParticipantI’m hoping Curry can come back, he is in shape apparently and could really make the Knicks a dangerous team if he can play anywhere near how he was 2-3 years ago.
Felton/Douglas
Azibukee/Walker/Mason
Gallo/Chandler/Randolph
Amare/Randolph
Curry/Turiaf/Mozgov0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/30/2010 - 10:49am #390447

sheltwon3ParticipantCurry should not play. They have too many guys that are longer more athletic and in better shape. He will most likely be traded at some point.

NYK2010ParticipantDepends on how healthy Curry is he might not be fat but he has to play injury free for a while before being a starter.
Last year they show cased him in a few games in hopes of trading him for more cap room.
This year its a totally diff. situation.Felton/Douglas/Rautins
Azibuike/Walker/Mason
Gallo/Chandler/Fields
Amare/Randolph
Turiaf/Mozgov/CurryBasically the SG spot should be up for grabs during training camp as Walker played really well last year and Chandler had his moments last year but consistent shooting the 3’s.
Earlier someone mentioned Gallo at the SG position, they did that some but he doesn’t have the lateral quickness to deal with SG’s. Leave him at SF he’s got a height advantage on most SF’s and i’m sure he’s added some weight. If he works on his post game and handling he has a very bright future.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/30/2010 - 6:16pm #390777
