VMAN25ParticipantWith the current roster and in the conference they play in The #1 pick should go to the wolves, BUT IF Denver does trade Melo and then Billups to rebuild i think they are going to be the worst team. I know its a BIG IF but Melo and Denver are very likely to part and Denver would have better options now then in mid seasons

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantLet me end this nicely
We could never project who will get the 1st pick in the draft. We could say who will be the worst team and who will have the best chance to get it but usually the #1 team doesn’t get it because they have a 25% chance at the 1st, 2nd,3rd or 4th pick. It’s equal for the number 1 pick.
Who will be the worst team? The Minnesota Timberwolves. The Raptors actually have talent on the roster ( Bargnani, Jack, Klezia) who could do well and get them wins. Cleveland has Antwan Jamison and Mo Williams who could keep Cleveland out the top 4.
My top 4 are ( from 4 to 1): Toronto, Sacramento, Golden State and Minnesota.

GalamothParticipantI would agree that if Melo gets dealt, it’s going to be a firesale in Denver similar to Washington last year. Given that they would probably get a decent amount of talent for Anthony, Billups and Smith and still have an above average front court, the worst record will probably belong to the Wolves given that three in that division would likely be playoff teams.
Sleeper for worst record: Charlotte. Despite the past couple years with relatively good health, Gerald Wallace isn’t exactly the most durable of players. Unless they get a steal from Dampier’s contract, they are 2 injuries from being awful.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI think the pistons have TOO much offensive firepower to be the worst team. in an uptempo don nelson offense, you can play
Villanueva
Prince
McGrady
Gordon
StuckeyOff the bench:
Hamilton
Monroe
JerekboAs you can see, the offense is there. Defensively they will have a hard time, but Prince, McGrady, Hamilton, Stuckey, Monroe, Villanueva, are all good passers and can run the floor.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHow do you figure?? I mean they have filled a need with Collison as the PG.. Rush and Jones are good enough to hold down the 2 spot.. Granger is the man on this team at the 3.. Hansbourugh and McRoberts are hard workers at the 4 and Hibbert has shown flashes of a top 5 C in the league.. I dont see how that team is soo much worse than say the Pistons, Raptors, or the Wolves…

mgreener_34ParticipantHow can anyone not say the Cavs? Toronto has some good pieces in Bargs, DeRozen, Weems, and Davis. Cleveland has non of that. Their going to have the worst starting 5 in all of basketball, and if they struggled on offense with lebron imagine it now. That team will be lucky to win 20 games.

kaceyParticipantThe Heat will. I’m sure Pat Riley will somehow convince David Stern to give the Heat the first pick in next year’s draft. He could probably sweet talk his way into getting the 2nd and 3rd picks too.
