Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI was reading Bill Simmons book of basketball. Here are a couple things that are incredible to me but which is the most incredible?
Micheal Jordan- The Bulls lost 3 games in a row in the 90-91 season’s first 3 games. After that, Jordan and the Bulls NEVER lost 3 in a row during Jordan’s tenure
Kareem Abdul Jabbar- Kareem won the Finals MVP in 1971 and 1985. He won 2 Finals MVP awards 14 years apart
Wilt Chamberlian- If you take all of Wilt’s 2nd half rebounds in his entire career, he would still have 8 more career rebounds then Dennis Rodman ( who has 11954 career rebounds)

MagikKnickParticipantI’d say Kaj, to be the most impressive player in an NBA finals is impressive in itself, but to do it again 14 years later, imo, that just tops the cake..

WizardofOzParticipantMichael Jordan and the Bulls was the most impressive. A team only losing 3 games in a row once in 8 seasons is very impressive and hard to do.
It’s not a surprise that it took Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 14 years to win another Finals MVP. His team was loaded.
In Wilt Chamberlain’s era, it was very easy to average great stats. If he was playing in Rodman’s era, he would have never gotten that many rebounds.

thunderforthewinParticipantI think your underestimating the past
wilt was a great player, no matter what era, you can’t say that he wouldn’t be dominant in Rodman’s era.

SubZeroParticipantWilt’s doesn’t impress me all that much. Sure he was great, but he was 5-6 inches taller than everyone he played against. (Plus I would like to add, Kobe’s 81 was better than Wilt’s 100. Just throwing that out there). I think the MJ and the Bulls feat is pretty amazing. NEVER losing 3 in a row in the whole time Jordan was there

The fact Kobe chucked the whole way? No it’s not. I saw that game, the LA players didn’t even wanna be on the floor.

SubZeroParticipantWilt shot 63 times, and 32 free throws. Kobe shot 46 times and 20 free throws. In Wilt’s game, is was all as soon as they got the ball, throw it to Wilt and let him shoot over top of the defender. Kobe shot fadeaways, 3’s, contested shots, everything

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYea but watching that Kobe game like 3 times, look at his teammates. They didn’t even wanna be there. He was clearly hogging the ball. In the 2000’s, 81 point game shouldn’t happen. He didn’t need to score 81 to win that night, he could have easily distribute the ball but didn’t. He was sending a message.
Wilt you could argue did the same thing

UofAxWildcatsParticipant100 is more impressive because he didnt shoot any 3 pointers so comparing how many shots each took is stupid IMO
