Has the most killer instinct as any player I’ve seen since I started watching NBA basketball in 1992.

This is what separates him from some of the other greats. He didn’t want to just beat you, he wanted to demolish you. The closets thing we have to that is Kobe and even Kobe is not Jordan. They both have that killer instinct, expecially in the fourth quarter….

MJ is one of a kind, I kind of get sick of hearing the comparisons between him and Kobe. Kobe is my favorite player to watch today, but MJ is in a league by himself, always has been, best player ever hands down.

Jordan is Jordan and Kobe is Kobe, sure there are similarities, but where is the line drawn? They both have a killer instinct and clutch gene, there games mimic each others’ so much, but I just can’t help but get frustrated with people belittling Kobe because he’s not on the level MJ is. No one will ever be on Jordan’s level, bottom line…

Kobe is no less of a player because he doesn’t exceed people’s expectations. No matter what he does, win 5 more titles, people will still say he’s not MJ. I just don’t get it…

I have been Michael Jordan fan since I was breathing too. I was born in 95 and moved to Chicago right after I was born. I took my first steps right by the Michael Jordan statue. One of my first words was Space Jam.

talking about there careers of course. tim has one more mvp, finals mvp, first team nba, 3 more second team defenses.

and kobe shot 41% in his first five nba finals. its a pathetic stats that sits on the exact opposite of clutch.
since then he has won two finals mvp and elevated himself to one of the greats. just not shaq and duncan great who both carried there team to the finals 3 times not twice

well, you are entitled to feel that way, but the majority disagree. A espn poll was done on who was the greatest of the last decade and kobe beat out shaq and duncan. And the majority feel kobe has had the better career then them. Being a close second option on a championship team is greater then not even making the finals. Kobe has 3 more finals appearances then duncan, you dont htink that matters becasue he was second option on some of those teams while still being an all nba’r?

I have been posting for one day and I think I have seen you post ” kobe shot 41% in his first five nba finals” like 10 times…

If you think Kobe is not clutch, you should not be posting at an NBA forum… End of story

Leppy, you have quite a warped perception of what “clutch” means…get your NBA knowledge up a little bit and come back and try again…

no other player could get away with shooting 41% in his first five nba finals and get away with it.

shaq carried him for the first three with his great fg% and kobe lost the other two.

If it wasnt for shaq we could be talking about kobe being the biggest loser of all time losing five in a row.

of course they wouldnt of been in the finals without shaq but kobe doesnt usually have great nba finals like great players do

kobe is clutch now a days thats it. He’s finally getting it done.

I’m glad the majority likes kobe over shaq and duncan. they think teams can win with shitty fg%. they are too enamored with kobe’s scoring and athletic plays to appreciate true dominating big men who aren’t flashy.

is also in kobe’s favor with him winning recently and shaq and duncans career tailing off. they were doing shit in the decade before

Your a moron leppy, if the Lakers didn’t have Kobe they WOULD NOT have been in the Finals either, it’s goes both ways. Don’t be so stupid…Kobe NEEDED Shaq just like Shaq NEEDED Kobe, anybody can see that!

If it wasn’t for Kobe and D.Wade, Shaq might have NO RINGS at all, and what a disappointment that would be on his LEGACY…chew on that…

for shaq and pau gasol kobe would have no rings chew on that. if you take away the sixth man seventh man on teams they wouldnt win championships. you could take away a lot of players and it would result in the team not winning a championship

So your saying doing well in the finals is not clutch????? you think hitting shots at the end of games in the regular season is clutch?????

i think you need to look up the definition. the regular season doesnt matter that much in the nba.
