    These 2 teams have made some great move in the off season and both are looking to improve on their records from next year.. So who looks better right now?

    Bulls:

    PG – Rose
    SG – Brewer
    SF – Deng
    PF – Boozer
    C – Noah
    6th – Gibson
    7th – Korver
    8th – Watson
    9th – Johnson

    Jazz:

    PG – Williams
    SG – Bell
    SF – Kirilinko
    PF – Jefferson
    C – Okur
    6th – Milsap
    7th – Miles
    8th – Price
    9th – Hayward

    The Bulls look slightly better on paper. I think the Jazz will have the better record. I also think the Bulls will get further in the playoffs.

    Actually pretty hard to say. I think at this point you have to take DWill over Rose. Bell and Brewer are similar, but Bell is a sniper (averages 2 threes a game) whereas Brewer can’t shoot at all and he brings valuable leadership. Kirilenko is still very effective on the defensive end but I’ll give the Bulls Deng. Noah over Okur. The Jazz Bench will Millsap and Miles and Hayward is better I’d say, Millsap is an 18-10 guy when he starts.

    The real debate comes down to Jefferson and Boozer I think. My opinion on the matter is that Boozer was spoiled a little bit by playing with DWill; I don’t think he would’ve become a 20 ppg guy otherwise…whereas Jefferson has never gotten to play with a great (or half-way decent) distributor, and he will be reborn playing with Williams, who’s already promised that he’ll have him making plenty of all-star appearances. Boozer might get a little bit of a shock playing with a ball-dominant PG like Rose as opposed to Utah’s flex offense run by Williams.

    I think it is very very close and I think I give the slight edge to the Jazz. Williams over Rose is the biggest thing to me..

    Bulls:
    Boozer is still going to be a 20-10ish guy and Rose will be even better because he will thrive with a legit pick-n-roll guy.. Deng will get in the way and probably prove that he has a bad contract.. Brewer wont be the answer at the 2 because him there means no outside shooting.. Noah will be fantastic this year… The bench is going to be solid. The big thing here is that this whole team is going to change.. That is where they will struggle.. They are adding a ton of new players to a new system with new coach.. Rose is great and Boozer is going to take this team to a new level but they will have to figure out what they want to do and then learn to do it together..

    Jazz:
    Jefferson will be competing with Pau Gasol for the starting PF spot in the West.. He will be amazing.. He is a good passer and can score at will.. With Williams running this team, they are going to be good.. Bell has played here before and nothing has changed since he was here.. Okur will be healthy this year and probably have a good year.. AK47 is going to be the same defender with some play making ability that he has always been.. Bench is giong to be pretty good with Milsap there and Miles being better.. I give them the nod here because they are trying to fit in 1 guy as opposed to fitting in 7 guys.. They arent changing anything to fit Jefferson.. He is ready made to step in and more than replace Boozer.. They will start with a bang!

    The Jazz lost Brewer, Korver, Boozer, and Matthews with only really gaining Jefferson and Hayward. They didn’t really improve all that much in my book, as the Bulls got the inside scorer they have needed for years, a great shooter in Korver, good backup point guard in Watson, as well as a solid player in Brewer. The Bulls will be the better offensive team, and the better rebounding team. They took what the Jazz had, and just made it better. I look for the Bulls to have the better season.

    But see, the Jazz played without Brewer for most of the season.. Korver is replaced by Bell, whom is much better.. Jefferson fills the void that Boozer left. Matthews is going to be the biggest loss and the Jazz are going to miss him..

    In a face on match up Jazz will win during the regular season or at least the majority of the games they play against each other whereas in the playoffs the Bulls would go farther like Jammin Lemon, because they are a younger team therefore more durable and will be less fatigued, have a more well rounded team and have players who I believe compliment each other more and each know their own distinct role and in the Playoffs that is very important.

    chicago is better…utah basically turned wesley matthews and carlos boozer into raja bell and al jefferson

    I actually think the Jazz are better right now, they can spread the floor much better than the Bulls. If the Bulls get Tmac and he can do anything I would say the Bulls.
