    “2K Sports has announced a new game mode for the latest iteration of its baskeball franchise, NBA 2K11, “The Jordan Challenge.” This new mode is to allow players to experience 10 of the most famous games in Michael Jordan’s career.

    Games include Jordan’s “self-described greatest game,” a beating of the Cavaliers by 69 points in March 1990, an “attempt to battle back from the flu” to defeat the Jazz in Game 6 of the 1997 finals, or his last game as a Chicago Bull on June 14th, 1998.

    In addition to the Jordan Challenge mode, gamers will have the chance to play as historical NBA teams, including the ’85-’86, ’89-’90, ’90-’91, ’94-’95, ’95-’96, ’96-’97, and ’97-’98 Chicago Bulls.

    “In NBA 2K11 Michael Jordan is much, much more than just a cover athlete,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “We’re excited to start talking about the ways that Michael will be used in the game … there’s still a lot more to come.” (quoted from 1up.com)

    Anybody excited about this? I know I am! It’s been forever since Jordan has been in a NBA video game. I remember how Jordan and Barkley were the “player” guys in the old NBA live games with the 99 overall. haha.

    This is a huge surprise. I’ve been waiting for Jordan to simply make an appearance on the 90’s East Legends team, and now this?

    I also remember “Roster Default,” or whatever they called Jordan back in those days.

    Thats sick. I want to play with the team of MJ, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc, Grant, and Kerr. Can’t wait for this game.

    Grant was never on the bulls at the same time as kerr and rodman, he had already bailed out to Orlando, doubt that’s a big deal 4 u tho

    I just pre-ordered it on Amazon. It took a little bit out of textbook funds, but I’m like the drunk guy who just slept with the fat chick that looked like Alicia Keys through his beer goggles. I won’t realize the consequences of my actions until I wake up.

    This is nice I really looking forward to his Top 9 greatest moments because I don’t like the one an “attempt to battle back from the flu” to defeat the Jazz in Game 6 of the 1997 finals which I think they should say pushed off Russell and hit the eventually game winner. Anyways this shall be fun…
