    As I look back on an Ed Davis article I read some interesting consensus beliefs amongst GM’s, Coaches, and NBA Fanatics. Such as Ed Davis has no mid-range game, Ed Davis is robotic with his movement, and Ed Davis is not a safe lottery pick and he has proven his critics wrong. Although he does have one very interesting statement.

    “When it comes to long and athletic big men, I’m the best in the draft,” Davis told the Indianapolis Star. “Whatever team drafts me, I’m going to play up to my potential.” ‘Ed Davis’ Indianapolis Star’

    The writer of this article seems to think he was talking about Cousins. I think he was talking about everyone but Cousins since DeMarcus is more of a large and strong Big.

    The players I think Davis was talking about are Derrick Favors, Ekpe Udoh, Monroe. Pat Patterson, Larry Sanders, Craig Brackins, Hassan Whiteside, Gani Lawal. wtc.

    Its refreshing to see Toronto with two hardworking 21 year old studs with loads of talent. Ed Davis is not hyped out to be the next great player at his position like Derozan is, Ed Davis expects himself to reach that level of play through hard work and prove everyone wrong.He may have proved alot of people wrong in this article already.

    One things for sure Toronto has 2 players who young players will model their games after and say “I sorta play like an Ed Davis type of F/C”.

    Yep hes definetly proved the critics wrong by averaging 12 points a game during the summer league…..

    Bayless averaged 29 points as a rookie and Patty Mills is better than him.

    I think Davis will be alright, he showed me one thing that I had question about because I remember his dad playing and Terry Davis was solid but not great. I did not know if he had the size to bang and compete and he showed me he does so I think after that he should be alright. He should get a chance to show more than he was able to show in NC.
