    Utah Informs Matthews Team Won’t Match Contract

    The Jazz have informed Wesley Matthews that they will not match the offer sheet he signed with the Blazers.

    Utah has decided to sign Raja Bell to a three-year deal, worth $10 million.

    Bell still needs to pass his physical, which is a contingency of their decision not to match.

    The Jazz were smart on this. They didn’t match Matthews’ ridiculously stupid offer, and they got a guy for nearly $25 million less. Smart move by Utah. (I’m applauding in front of my computer screen)

    I still think there a guard away from being serious. They also need to bring back Fez.

    Portland is stupid, good luck fitting him into the rotation. This mean Rudy might be traded.

      Jason Richardson would be great for them. Rip Hamilton, a nice vet. I think they should have given Ray Allen a lil offer this summer.

    The issue with Utah is they hate going offer the luxury tax. If they didn’t care, I’d say bring back Wes Matthews and sign Raja Bell.

    They probably signed Matthews to the contract because K. Pritchard wasn’t around anymore to stop them..

    Raja Bell is a tenacious defender and a good 3 point shooter… Raja always defends kobe good i think he will bring toughness to utah
