ebanks isnt looking for his shot for some reason just running through the offense. not having a good all around game either

laundry fields is looking nice yet again(no suprise to me or llperez but probably suprising to most on here)

caracter struggled a lil with jordans size when he was on him but still finding ways to score and getting boards. not getting doubled as much as last game but they are sending doubles at him

j.jordan is looking pretty nice altering and blocking shots

oh yeah and no one can seem to make a jumper..everyone is scoring close to the basket points

also the refs are horrible…and not just this game it seems every game.. some of the calls are bad some are wayy late and some seem to be made up..i wonder if thats a lil reason why players are given 10 fouls before fouling out.

Fields is having a really nice game. He is looking like a great addition. And Douglas is leading the Knicks in both rebounds and assists. He’s had some nice steals, too, playing a real team game. He’ll be great as a backup PG and will probably see quite a bit of time at SG as well. Especially if Azubuike isn’t ready to go.

But the things I’m happiest about is that Jerome Jordan is having a good game. I said yesterday that I really wanted to see this, and now it’s happening. He’s played really well in the paint on both ends. He’s got 2 or 3 blocks already, but he looks like a favorite to eclipse Bill Walker’s foul total from yesterday. At least he’s aggressive.

I love Landry Fields, he’s got a really complete game, that for some reason to me is great to watch. I hope he can stick and be a contributor for the knicks for a while.

I think the Knicks are trying to trade Wilson Chandler to allow Fields to play which I am fine with, he looks like a guy who can contribute right away. Does Fields have good 3 point ability???

I’ve seen Fields shoot several 3’s, and he looks pretty good there. I don’t know what his reputation is for it. He’s had 2 really solid Summer League games so far.

As for trading Chandler, I was dead-set against it the last couple years, but now I think it may make sense, but only if we can get something good for him. Douglas, Azubuikie, Walker can man the 2 and still provide backup for Gallinari at the 3. I wouldn’t pencil Fields in yet for playing time, but he may earn some this year. One less guy in the rotation would make it simpler for D’Antoni. And Randolph and Stoudemire should be all we need at the 4.

But it doesn’t make sense if we don’t get a good return. And packaging it up with Curry now might not be the best bet because it reduces our cap space for next summer. It would be nice to have enough for a max. set aside. I’d love to get a first round draft pick for him, and maybe a role player. Or maybe still offer him up to the Timberwolves in a package that nets us Rubio. Imagine him playing alongside Felton for a year or two to see how he develops. By then, Douglas should be ready to emerge as a solid piece in a 3-guard rotation, and all we need is the 2 to go with it.
