Keep in mind if you take control your trying to improve wins and add new players to the roster. So claiming you want control of the Lakers is kinda dumb cause there already in a good spot. I’m thinking teams like the Bucks, Wizards, Kings, etc.

I would LOVE to be an NBA gm. Its not even about the money cause i would do it for minimum wage just based off passion for the game. If someone talked me through the business and contract aspects, i promise you i could do a decent job if given time. If I could pick one team, I would pick any team currently not predicted to make the playoffs. Seriously, that is what is fun about it.

All of us nbadraft.net chatters run our mouths all day, it would be fun if we could actually each run our own team and put our money where our mouths are.

Washington – #1 draft pick and future star in Wall, current star in Arenas. No real expectations this year so they should end up with a top 5 pick in next years draft. Solid young players in Andray Blatche and Javale McGee. Great salary cap situation despite Arenas’ contract, a big market, and an owner willing to spend money.

Just a great all around situation. Sacremento is in a similiar situation out west.

100% Agree with Perez, thats a dream job, if i could learn the economics involved, i think I could be a great GM(doesnt everybody? lol).

A dream team to take over for now is a team like the Nets, Kings, or Raps, young teams, with developing young pieces, and a bright future. With time and a few pieces here and there, those teams can be something special.

I’ll take the Golden State Warriors.

I think they have the pieces ( keep and trade) to build a Championship.

Some other teams would be the Warriors, Bulls and Heat.

Well… I think I would want to take over as GM for the Kings.

But if I had to choose a team that was not my favorite I would probably say the Hornets, and if I had to choose a team closer to the bottom, the Nets.

They have great young players and lots of cap space. They can can win a lot of games rights now, and down the road, they could be a title contender.

I would choose the Wizards. I fully agree with ItsDwightHoward. Their rebuilding process has gotten a head start by landing future superstar John Wall. They also have some really young and talented players in Blatche, McGee, Young, and Thornton that can be really good NBA players if they just get their head in the game. They also still have Arenas. I don’t think he will ever be on the level he was 3 years ago, but I think he can still be a good player and we can either play him or trade him. The Wizards can also use some creative thinking to free up some cap space to sign a top-level free agent in 2011 or 2012. And plus, which free agent wouldn’t be attracted to playing in the nation’s capital, playing in front of the president. This team has a very bright future and plus, I am a HUGE Wizards fan.

I would choose the t-wolves. I think they could become good if they had someone who understands basketball. And will not draft all SF and a ton of Point guards! I know it may sound cocky but i am pretty sure even i could of put together a better draft then Kahn! And i am a big T-wolves fan!

I think I would choose the Knicks because you can always get a star to come to NY and they are in pretty good financial shape.

I’ve gotta go for my hometown Wizards, as of now. I am a diehard Wizards fan and the first thing I would do(lol), is trade Arenas, either to the Knicks in a deal featuring Eddy Curry or to another team trying to gain a consolation price for a free agency failure(Cleveland?). The Wiz have #1 pick John Wall, plus good young talent in Blatche, Mcgee, Young, Thornton and even Yi Jianlian. Add in very solid veteran point guard in Hinrich and future role players in Booker, N’diaye and Seraphin, and the Wizard shave a pretty bright future!
