    Heard it on ESPN…

I have never witnessed such a pathetic sports city in my life. It must suck bad to be a Cleveland fan.

The problem is that the city is so terrible that the sports are the only things they have for entertainment. And I won’t see Cleveland win a championship in my lifetime. They will lose over 60 games next season. Book it.

This happens in every city whenever an athlete leaves for a new team. A jersey of a former player doesn’t have much value to the average fan ( immediately that is…theres usually retro value in ten years though). This isnt news and isn’t specific to Cleveland.

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-07-10/lebron-james-fathead-price-cut-is-sparked-by-birthyear-of-benedict-arnold.html

Dan Gilbert owns the company Fathead (poster company) and cut the price of a LeBron fathead down to $17.41, the same year Benedict Arnold was born.

Will Dan Gilbert make a Miami Heat LeBron fat head? I would buy one for 17.41.

I was about to say the same thing. Once a player switches teams his jerseys value is damn near nothing untill years after they retire

OMG, Dan Gilbert is really pi$$ing me off.

This $17.41 LeBron Fathead price is so ridiculous and immature of this bitter owner.

First, it is complete nonsense to sell the Fatheads at a $17 price, even if LeBron left. Secondly, selling the fatheads at that price is only a sucker, “business” attempt to still sell his product while brainwashing the fans into believing this Benedict Arnold image of LeBron in being a “sell out.” Thirdly, I hope LeBron catches Dan somewhere alone and really whoops his @$$. Gilbert deserves it. How do you threaten a player who’s done all he could for your franchise and decided to make a personal choice on his own terms? This only shows me how low owners can stoop when they don’t get their way. I mean, the man (LeBron) still has family and friends in Cleveland and he’s adding fuel to the fire. If I was LeBron and something happened to my family as a result of Gilbert’s antics of firing the city even more, I’d be looking to square off with that f@ggot.
