Lotto StudParticipantHow will Beasley pan out now that he’s with a new squad, will he flourish in the new system without playing the 3rd option?
I think with Minny shipping Al Jefferson, Kevin Love’s play will open the door for Beasley to become a double-double player @ will.0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 7:27am #351163
IknoBall12Participantidk if he will be a double double guy bu ti think he will put up pretty good numbers. he may even become a 20 ppg scorer in minny. bu twho is al jefferson being traded to and for wat?

Lotto StudParticipantWho is the better fit with Beasley in the frontcourt Love or Jefferson?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantDefinitely Beasley. Love and Jefferson are very identical. With Beasley potentially replacing Jefferson, Love will have more opportunities to create with his back to the basket since Beasley spends much more time on the perimeter.

bennydabullParticipantHave known each other for a while through AAU days and being in that great high school class, as well as draft class. Love should flourish in the Triangle now that Jefferson is looking to be moved and maybe Beasley will become the Odom type of player (without the PG abilities) in the Triangle?

scoutguruParticipantI agree with you KSUxUofAxWildcats, if he got basically 15 and 6 in only 30 min, with very few plays ran for him, he’ll easily get 20 and 8 now and you figure at least 34 min and more plays ran for him. And I think you can make that 20 and 10 honestly, but idk if his mentality will change in regards to banging down low, so we’ll see.

billykParticipantBeasley would score 20 and 8 and GIVE UP 30 and 10… His defense SUCKS..

OhCanada-ParticipantMinnesota is gonna suck and be right up there with Toronto and G-State for the first overall draft pick.
But they are gonna be fun to watch and Beasleys going to show al lthat potential we raved over.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantLook, if someone who plays fantasy basketball wants to grab Beasley, I have no problem. He is probably going to be around 22-24 points per game. He’ll be a modern day Big Dog Robinson. For him to fulfill his potential, he needs to become a better defender and passer. We’ll see how it plays out.
